Knology is overpriced, and Overrated. I was charged 40.00 to change the account from my name to my fiance's name. I haven't paid it because I personally think its BS. I get random misc fees on my bill... Not to mention, when they came to install it, I had to tell them how to do their job, because I know more about networks, and inner-connectivity than they do.

An overall useless company. But its the only provider in the Apartment complex that I live in... (Summerville, SC). Which is garbage.

Knology is too expensive. I wanted an extra HD box for my bedroom and Knology wanted to charge me $9.95 per month extra for cable box, which I guess is reasonable. In addition to the box rental, they wanted an additional $9.95 per month "to keep the cable jack that feeds the cable box active." I told the Knology supervisor (Tiffany in Charleston SC) that the jack on the wall is always active with all HD content and that it was the cable box which controlled the HD programming access. She said I was wrong. I told her that she need to be educated by a tech.

Had problem with shadows on Fox Sports when first got bundled service from Knology. Installer said they (Fox) were working on upgrades. Three years later a technician who responded to a service call on another issue phoned Knology tech support and they said they were having the same problem. He said that the reason was because that was the way Fox Sports was sending it's signal to Knology. Switched to Comcast bundle services a week later....no shadows on Fox Sports plus more channels and features like "On Demand", Digital Voice Message Center, etc for less money.

bundle $100 more expensive ($215 month) vs BellSouth bundle which includes direct tv, DSL and unlimited long distance!! college gameday coverage a joke, too many blackouts, (probably not knology's fault)but they advertise it as full access.

I recently moved into an apartment complex and found out that Knology was the cable company. Knology does not have The Outdoor Channel and GAC. It doesn't make any sense for me to start service if Knology does even have the channels I watch. They have been unresponsive to my requests also.
