No race here in Indiana this year. Long time Republican Senator Richard Lugar is headed for re-election this year, primarily because no one challenged him. However, with 3 of Indiana's House seats possibly switching from Republican to Democratic party control, it is conceivable that some Democrat could have taken advantage of those dynamics to challenge Lugar in a statewide campaign. But no one stepped up on time, and at any rate, Lugar would have easily won anyways, considering that he's well entrenched.
