09/22/2007 | Never quite got their appeal. Not horrible, I guess, but everything I've heard them do has been uniformly bland, dull and colorless. In the past, rock music, and even most pop, was designed to get the blood flowing, to get you moving, to feel that beat, to get those hormones working so you could dance and...whatever. Now it seems intended as a soporific for jaded yups waiting for those after-work martinis to kick in.
