I'm kind of fond of the look, probably because I once had a girlfriend who was fond of showing up wearing one, with only lingerie underneath......

Coats can be made without killing animals.

Of course it's tacky! You're wearing a former living creature on your body. Ugh

Well only if the animal was used for other things than a fur coat than I have no proplem with fur coats.

The only time I will EVER agree with PETA. Only wear a fur coat if it has faux fur.

Only if it is fake fur. I'm with PETA on this. Why should animals have to suffer so we can look good? UPDATE: Minks may be "repulsive, snotty little creatures", but even they have the right to live, instead of being murdered to satisfy a woman's vanity. Nothing sceams "poseur" like a mink coat.

I dunno, looks kinda tacky. I mean, if it's really cold, at least I can understand. But, with so many good synthetics out there, there's no need. What's worse than the coats are those awful, AWFUL shawls that people wear, with the animal heads still on 'em. That's just creepy.

big fashion don't. why anyone would want to wear an animals fur is beyond me.
