You are all prudes. Wear it loud and proud and I think a glimpse of thong above the jeans is sexy. Lets you know a lot about the type of girl / guy you happen to be looking at. My wife and I wear them . They are incredibly comfortable also

I would think this would be very uncomfortable, not to mention what it would look like.

I'm with Frank. Underwear shouldn't ever be considered a "fashion statement". They should serve their intended purpose and no other - unless in the privacy of your own home, 'cause no one wants to see what you've got underneath your clothes.

Underwear of any style, size or shape should not be considered fashion. Keep it in your pants and let it do its job in terms of support and comfort. If you don't find it comfortable, don't wear it, if you don't want panty lines then wear it or buy better fitting pants. If it is creeping up over the waist band of your pants, be it panties or boxers, whether its by design or accident, then you are sending the world a message that you would rather not have to get dressed. And if that's the case, then the rest of the world would really rather you stayed at home.

Always a "don't"!

Given a choice of this and no undies at all I would go with choice number 2. That is unless I just wanted to spend money to put myself in a state of total irritation.

I suppose they are okay for some people out there.they are not for my backend though. My being in my 40s and not having a size 2 behind I will stick will my Hanes, and fruit of the looms.

Not for guys. I wear 'em, though. Yeah, sure, at first it sounds like a bad idea, but they're not THAT uncomfortable. Better than worrying about panty lines. As far as it being "fashion", well, I've only got an audience of one to worry about, so I'd hardly call it a matter of "fashion".

i don't care what style of underwear that anyone wears but i also don't want to see it cuz the waist of your pants are low enough it shows

This form of underwear for woman probably was made to eliminate panty lines. Personally, i like to look at panty lines. So im not a fan of the thong. I learned from watching the Berman and Berman show that too thin of a g string can cause yeast infections.
