I haven't had a Godfather's pizza in years. But when I lived in Pasadena, Tx it was the best out there! I remember it had sauce and cheese and then the toppings, and on top of the toppings was another layer of cheese. Lots of topping buried under a layer of cheese. It was great!

There are other chains that have better pizza, but overall Godfather's is pretty good. In high school a group of us went to Godfather's before prom, tuxes and all. Needless to say, we got a few stares.

They made me an offer I can easily and happily refuse.

No matter what I'm in the mood for whenever we drive up to Gainseville(Florida) my husband always insist on eating here! But you know, those garlic knots are definately to die for! Unbuckle your belt and unzip your pants!

Today I had buffet at the Godfathers in Cherokee Iowa ,in the past theres been some issues,but today ,it was the best,courtesy was the best,and the food was excellent..you should try to go there!!

(Rating based on one experience at Gainesville, FL location) I think the Godfather just put a hit out on me; they just tried to poison me with their food! ATMOSPHERE: 2/5. A bit run down and a bit on the dirty side. However, I didn't SEE any roaches or mouse droppings or anything like that, so I'll give it a "2", at least. The TV in the corner had on some trashy "Hollywood" entertainment gossip show, followed by a show called "Wife Swap". Sadly, the choice of programming seemed only fitting. SERVICE: 2/5. It's not that they were impolite. They were indifferent. Very, very indifferent. Kinda like the girl behind the counter didn't want to be there, either. FOOD QUALITY: 2/5. I am amazed that they found an EZ-Bake oven big enough to make those pizzas in. Or, at least that's what it tasted like. School lunches seemed more refined than what they had to offer. The pasta swam in this liquidy tomato water. However, the oddly out-of-place salad bar was pretty decent; the vegetables were fresh and flavorful, however small the selection. FOOD QUANTITY: 3/5. You get a lot of food. Though, on second thought, you probably wouldn't want it. PRICE: 4/5. Very low prices. But hopefully it's matched with low expectations. OVERALL: I'd still give it 2/5 overall. I just might go back . . . after getting a tetanus shot.

This is the best place to ever get pizza! The sauce is wonderful! We don't have one near where we live now, so anytime we are traveling, that is usually where we will go!

Still rates as the most fabulous pizza I've ever eaten at a dine-in chain. The smell was incredible (permeated everything in the room), and the cheese was so thick it was scary (almost DARED you to wade into it with both hands). Each slice was a good pound-and-a-half, loaded with pepperoni, onion, mushrooms, and green peppers. Piping hot and served quickly with a smile. Sadly, they moved out of this area, and a friend recently found one on a road trip and reported that they're NOTHING like they once were. Oh, well.....that memory (and the three pounds around my waist) will last a lifetime.

Godfather's is the best pizza in the world! Their sauce, cheese, crust and toppings are simply delicious. I am surprised when I read comments saying how others can't stand it. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Their pizza is quite bland. The toppings, sauce and cheese have little to no taste. That said, the crust is pretty good. Aside from Chicago pizza, is typical midwest pizza for the most part.

My comment is for the Ohio Godfathers Pizza places. They are the best. Loads of ingrediants. Unlike other pizzas. Rate your own areas not all the chains as one.

I don't know why there are so many low ratings. Godfather's is one of the only chains to make dough fresh every day and to not use frozen cheese. Go for a franchise store, though, they tend to have better quality.

Total old school. The commercials were piss poor.

Godfather's is the dominant chain here in Omaha, where it was started. It's got decent pizza, but the cheese tastes like rubber and has no flavor. The crust is also weird and very chewy. The sauce and other toppings are pretty good, though. Still, Godfather's is not my first choice for pizza.

Another awful Pizza chain...Godfathers' hog-tasting pizza is only surpassed by Papa John's disgusting hogwash...Godfather's is bland, bland, bland! Yuk! Crust is the worst.

Godfather's Pizza has the worst crust in the world. It is such a phony of a crust. Toaster Breaks Frozen Pizza Bars have better crusts then Godfather's has. I would have Godfather's Pizza a lot because when I was younger, I had a friend named Meghan and her father worked, and he hated his job, he said he was laid off, and stuff like that.
