A the definitive example of a feminine "mystic soprano", Kate Bush is really hard for most critics here. Yet the spiritual mystery of her best work, not to mention its truly unusal and cosmic depth, is just too good to prevent her getting in, even if her first three albums were affected by wafer-thin production.

She had an unique brand of music which i still love today.I dont think she got credit enough for te difference she made.

Absolutely should be in. Given her phobia about flying she was never able to sell herself well around the world.. especially in the US. MTV was never fond of her either so that route was out. (Although I do remember them playing 'Running Up That Hill' a couple of times.) Her voice is unusual and she admittedly may be an aquired taste but I think she's brilliant. The Kick Inside may be one of the best albums ever produced. An enchanting woman whose voice has a plaintive and ethereal quality that makes every song she sings something personal and moving.
