Mick Jagger and Keith Richards deserve to be in the songwriters hall of fame - for songs like "As Tears Go By" but that doesn't mean the MF should go in the rock hall for covering it.

Absolutely, Faithfull is rumored to appear at the Live Earth concert in Wembley Stated. This appearence will bring her back one more time.

Why she hasn't already been inducted is beyond me. She hit the music scene about 1965, and has survived and flourished for over forty years. She had to reinvent her self many times but always came out on top. She also has had lots of turmoil in her life with bad choices, but still is dishing it out.

How can you say Faithfull isn't relevant today. Influenced artists like Beck, PJ Harvey, Eddie Vedder, Sean Lennon, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Perry Farrell. Faithfull will be appearing at Lollapalooza 2007. Her new CD Before the Poison was a top 30 hit and top 10 in Europe. Faithfull is more relevent currently then half the halls inductees with the exceptions of U2, Patti Smith, R.E.M., Prince and such.

Faithfull has a more impressive list of hits then many who are in the hall.. Something Better, As Tears Go By, Sister Morphine, Why'd Ya Do It, Broken English, Sex With Strangers, Incarceration of a Flower Child!

Faithfull reinvented herself more successfully than any other 60's artist. Her new releases (Before the Poison, Kissin' Time) are cutting edge. Her classics (As Tears Go By, Something Better, Sister Morphine which she co-wrote) are stunning.
