How could there possibly be any debate on this? Those who think Rickie Lee recorded only two good albums are way off the mark. I recently recorded her best songs for a friend who had never heard her before. I filled 3 CD's with almost 4 hours of first-rate music. Ghostyhead is particularly underrated. Saw Rickie Lee live recently and was shocked by how dispirited she seemed. We owe her our vote for giving birth to songs, and a style, that we would have never heard otherwise, making us feel that something important was missing from this world. She's the ying to Tom Waits' yang, but much more consistent as a composer.

If she could have followed up her first 2 LPs with anythig close to that good for this long maybe. But she's way off the charts bad these days. Too bad, she was so promising as a young artist

A totally unique voice in the pop world......since rock is made up of so many styles and sounds, I guess this is the best place for her! Should have gotten in her first year of eligibility.....one of the 10-12 women who have most shamefully been overlooked!!
