WHAT A RIP OFF. Freezer would cost less, have more topping and taste better.

The food is good, but I would say that the service isn't very good. This is kind of funny considering that I'm basing my opinion on the Coralville, IA location, which has a previous review as having great service. So I'm guessing that the service must vary a lot, even at the same location.

Old Chicago is a pretty popular place in the college town where I live, due to the HUGE selection of beers the place has. The selection is probably the coolest thing about Old Chicago, because the service is so slow, going there is exhausting. Maybe it's only the Old Chicago in my town, but I won't go there anymore because of the awful service and unfriendly staff.

I dont think these guys have even been to Chicago to taste their pizza. Safeway frozen pizza is better! Our Salad was hot, the salad plated just came out of the dishwasher sot they were 180 degrees. MMM!good! We never got our beer cards. All around bad! If you dont know real chicago pizza you might like this stuff! Support you local pizza joint and take a trip to chicago for the real stuff. These guys just to deliver!

The pizza is good, but not great. The toppings are great, the cheese and sauce are okay. The crust is nothing remarkable. The service at the Old Chicago in Coralville, Iowa is outstanding!

I don't believe that this place is getting such crappy ratings. I am not a pizza lover but I love this pizza! The atmosphere is great and it beats Pizza Hut and Papa John's. EWWWW!!!!

Old Chicago makes an extremly thick and greaseball pizza. It's extremly sweet tasting, and that's not good for a pizza, because that means that they used candied tomatoes, which aren't very good for your health.

One of these chains recently opened up where I live and so a group of us went downtown to check it out and give it a try. Here's what we found out: Old Chicago is Lousy a capital "L". The food was not even average but below average. I find it so discouraging that these huge chains somehow manage to stay in business let alone continue to expand with such mediocre fare. This particular case is even more distressing because they took over a beautiful spot in the historic district where there had been a places called the "Seamens Club" that had been there forever. So now you have this chain that's trying to disguise itself behind this beautiful brick facade with huge arched windows along a cobble stone street only to get inside and have the whole experience ruined by, as previously stated, Lousy food. Such a shame.

If your idea of pizza comes from a cardboard box in the freezer section of your local grocery store, you'll love Old Chicago Pizza. If not, skip the pizza at this place and stick to the beer. It's nothing to write home about, that's for sure.
