This was the year where my grandpa was in his heyday in AAA ball for the Stockon Ports, who at that time was the AAA organization of the Browns. He chose to start a family over baseball. (whew, otherwise I might not have existed) Not like he would've wanted to come up into this perennial losing environment anyway. I can only cringe at this organization's lackluster histoy (although they started off well after moving to Baltimore).
