One of the most fulfilling emotions for the parents. Procreation is a privilege and a blessing.

This, of course, is near the top, if not the top, of all human experiences. In the child are all your hopes, dreams, and plans for the future.

My son and his lovely wife just had my second grandchild. She was 7lbs 14 oz, 19 inches long and long black hair. She is beautiful. My other granddaughter (my daughter's child) is 8 months old and beautiful as well. I love my grandkids and this new venture in my life shows me just how blessed I really am.

I love children, and can't wait to have my own someday. In any case, the birth of a child has to be the most emotionally satisfying experience as he/she becomes the primary focus of parents' lives. I would also have to rate it as the most beautiful event of all in life.

I haven't come up with my own yet, but my nephews sure can be fun. The excitement level of my family when they made their entrances was unmatched in my memory.

There is really no analogous event in the human experience. Its sudden rush of emotion that includes wonder and fear, excitement and apprehension, accomplishment and obligation, breathtaking beauty and slimy mess, agony and happiness and it all happens simultaneously when the child pokes its head out. And that's just the father's experience. The mother has created and nurtured life inside her body and felt it grow in size, strength and even intellegence. All the while she she must walk among us mortals while this was going on inside her body. It is all so strange that its hard to put it on a list with regular everyday events.

To conceive, nurture in the womb, and then finally to gloriously 'give birth' is as close to the miraculous as I am ever likely to experience.

It is the beginning of a new life and the precious addition to your family, so who wouldn't like that? For anyone to hate this, they would have to hate life, which means they really hate themselves. I hate it how some people hate children. They hate children because they either have had a bad childhood, they have forgotten that they were once children or they can't stand anything weak, or they just hate themselves and life. The birth of a child is a precious experience and I believe God loves this time too. I could especially imagine women loving this, especially since they were the ones who gave birth in the first place. The only thing that I and women hate about child birth is the pain and actual labour, but once the pain is over, they feel the most joy they have ever felt. It is amazing to me how women go through such intense pain during child birth but the pleasure and joy is so great after they have given birth, the pleasure is far greater then the pain. Then they just want more children. Pain is no deterrent from this type of joy.

It was a heck of a rush to see my little niece come into the world (pretty intense stuff), and a big emotional roller-coaster, even just as a spectator. I'd imagine it'd be several times more intense when it's my turn to be the mom.

Giving birth to a baby is one of the biggest most important times of my life. It will always be at the top of most emotionally satisfying times. I remember everything about the two times I had babies.there is nothing like it.just that momment of birth when I get to see for the first time the baby I had been carrying around for nine months. I chose to "be surprised" so my spouse and I can hear for the first time if we had a boy or girl. It is bringing me back right now. Our first was a girl and three years later a boy.nice memories.to be cherished.

Since the category description makes it personal, a child is the last thing in the world I would want.
