I did a burnout in the school parking lot after I got my diploma!

I felt so relieved that I was out of high school and practically danced all the way home. Some guy did a backflip onstage after getting his diploma and fell down the stairs on the stage. He'll probably not get to do that again.

Please. . .diplomas are handed out now- you don't have to do any real work to graduate. I couldn't wait to leave those morons behind and go to college and get a real education.

Yeah, right. My attitude was, "I'm finally out of this hellhole".

Whoop-di-do. I was ready to make my escape relieved it was over.

Nowadays, high school graduation should be de rigor for all. The advanced studies would be even more satisfying.

This is a wonderful experience. You not only feel as if you are free, but you see all your friends and you feel like you've accomplished something. Plus it is the end to feeling like a child.

Meh. Well, it wasn't earth-shattering or anything. Yeah, it would have sucked if it DIDN'T happen, but it really just kind of came and went. I was already looking forward to college at that point.
