The pizza is great but the place I went to in Faribault Minnesota was very unpleasant and the manager seemed like a bitch. Employees looked very unhappy. I'd NEVER recommend anyone to work here!

I thought the pizza from Papa Murphy's was adequate - run of the mill taste - but I liked the concept and had hoped the end results would improve. Drove by their location this morning and found their sign removed and movers clearing the place out. I read our local papers religiously and had seen no announcement of its closing. During the times we'd visited, the local shop seemed to be fairly busy - almost always lines. As this was apparently not a franchise operation, assume this was a corporate decision. In any case, suggest you not purchase any of their coupons - in case they suddenly fold their tent in your location

Don't listen to all these people giving it 1 star.... I have never been to one that wasn't clean enough to lick the floor, their pizza toppings are great, and the prices are better (and generally healthier) than any frozen pizza I have ever eaten, and oh do I eat a lot of pizza.

The pizza isn't perfect though, their sauce is a little weak. I've found that this is mostly due to us cooking the pizza at home. A lot of the sauce gets absorbed by the crust and ingredients during cooking as we don't cook it at near the temperature of a pizza oven. The crust can get crunchy and dry if not cooked properly, too. You will get the hang of it after a couple of tries. Overall very fresh pizza at a very good price.

Papa Murphy's is a bunch of shady folks! If you are ever planning on opening a franchise you better not tell one of there sales reps. where you are planning on opening! They will have one of there buddies open instead if it looks like a good place you had in mind! I went to seminars, flew thousnds of miles, wasted tons of time & to my surprise when I was ready to get going with it found that 1 month after I flew 1,800 miles to the seminar they were actually allready working on opening the store in the location that I brought to there attention. I am in the process of finding the perfect pizza crust & when I do, I just may open my own store in the same town. They have good pizza's but with a better crust could be even better. The trick is to use plenty of top quality toppings. You can buy a can of Pilsburry pizza dough, cheese and sauce. Throw on whatever toppings you want, "buy the good pepperoni or any other topping for that matter" and be every bit as good as theres.

This should be the last resort if you really have to have pizza. The pizza has no taste as the sauce is horrendous. The cost is okay but they need to fix their recipe so that their pizza is even the slightest bit edible. The only thing keeping them open around here are all the people on foodstamps who can't afford a good pizza. I make my own pizzas at home for less money and way better taste. Save your money and stomach and make yor own or buy a good frozen pizza from the store.

If you are a fan of frozen pizza, this is not for you. The taste will not resemble that of a frozen pizza because IT'S FRESH! IT'S REAL FOOD! If you are a fan of your pizza coming out of a cardboard box after it has been driven all over town, this is not for you because IT'S FRESH! IT'S REAL FOOD! If you have a closed, narrow mind or are a little too lazy to follow STEP BY STEP instructions that are provided WITH EACH PIZZA, this is not for you because IT'S FRESH! and YOU need to BAKE it! I read the snarky detractor's reviews below and really have to wonder if any of them are over 12. This is the most amazing pizza available from a pizza chain. The only way to get better pizza is to go to a mom and pop authentic pizza parlor, which most don't have access to. The reason so many don't care for it is because they haven't had REAL PIZZA! Try this. You like REAL PIZZA, you will love Papa Murphy's. If you like chain pizza, or frozen, go elsewhere or pick up the phone and keep your closed, narrow mind.

The pizza is ok! But for the price I would rather pick up a bake yourself pizza from the local grocery store deli.

I LOVE Papa Murphy's pizza! I live in Knoxville, TN and the two chains I go to regularly are great. I'm shocked at some of the negative comments that have been made, but then again...not every chain is the same. All I know is, the owner of the chains in my area care about their customers, and I've never had anything less than delicious pizza with the freshest ingredients!

i can't believe that the biggest complaint everyone has is their own laziness. you saw that it said "take and bake"...what did you think that meant? if you want your pizza delivered, order it. don't go into a take and bake pizza shop and then complain about your own shortcomings. lazy, lazy americans.

There are a couple of pizza joints that are a little better. Unfortunately, they are very over-priced, especially for a pizza. With a little time and the right ingredients, you can make a much better one at home.

A lot of people have been telling me for a long time how good Papa Murphy's is, and for some reason just never really got around to trying it. About a month ago, I got a chance to try it, and I'm not sorry I did.

Don't go to Grand Island papa murphy becaus the manager go out to smoke and then makes the pizza without washing there hands all the time. They don't wash out thedough totes. the reuse them. They don't wash the mixer before they mkecookie dough

The pizza was great, awsome ingredients espceially the band aid. I was disgusted by it and will never go there again. IT is very unsanitary.

Papa Murphys Gourmet Garlic Chicken Pizza is the best! It has a white alfrado sauce,Cheese, Grilled chicken, Green onions & tomatos on it. The cheese that they use is top notch quality.They had better not go out of business in my town!

If you are on foodstamps, you have no business ordering take out pizza. That is NOT what taxpayers are paying for.

Awesome pizza. Better than alot of pizza chains. If you're lazy, don't bother. It's worth the wait. We got a Texas Summer special which was a large one topping, cheesy bread, and a 2liter for 10.99 NO TAX. Since its not MADE at the establishment there is no tax! Genius. Even people on foodstamps can get it here.

Good value, better than some pizza parlours make. Takes about half the time as a frozen pizza and tastes much better. The only drawback is no home oven can bake at the high temperatures that pizza parlours have.

I would rate this as above average "frozen" pizza--the price is cheap, so that must be taken into consideration, but the hassle of picking it up, baking it, dumping it onto a cutting board, cutting it, etc... seems to outweigh the savings compared to Pizza Hut delivering it, for example. Directions as provided are poor--since the directions are make or break to their business I'm suprised that they aren't better.

Amazing pizza! The cookie dough you can buy here makes the most delicious cookies I have ever tasted.

Great value, good pizza. My family is pretty picky but they all agree this is close to pizza parlor flavor. Just add some oregano and garlic and you are good to go. Salads, like the pizza, are a bit plain, but can be helped with some seasoning and can't be beaten for value.

Papa Murphys? MURPHYS? Can you imagine if they tried this name in New England or NYC? lol...

Buy a Tombstone and save the money.

Not bad pizza...but current company policies and marketing practices make it difficult for the company to succeed. Closing stores with two days notice and not providing any telephone forwarding is unfair to customers. They don't care about customers or employees and less about their management. They want the bottom line net dollars to be high. If not...boom. Shut down. I won't buy their pizza again.

I had this pizza for the first time at a friend's house, and I was a little suspicious of the concept. However, it turned out to be pretty good. I admit I was pretty blown away, but I also admit I wouldn't have been so blown away by it if there hadn't been the concept of take'n'bake involved. Anyway, pretty good pizza. Great price. I love getting pizzas here if I'm at a party and no one's delivering. Just think ahead, and you'll have pizza for all.

simply the best! What more can you say. It tastes great and is always fresh. You see exactly what you are getting. Plus the price is reduced by about 1/2.

This is a great concept. Call ahead, pick it up after work and throw it in the overn when yu get home. it's half the price of any of the other chains, it's not cold when you get home, and you don't have to wait forever for a '75 Vega to inch down your street looking for the house with all the lights on and the front porch light flashing.

The pizza is decent...nothing to write home about. It is good, considering the price. You get what you pay for!

In small towns, this is usually the best pizza to be found. They are continually improving, and it is hard to believe that it comes out of your own oven!

Papa Murphy's is the best pizza I have ever had. You can buy a few pizzas and cook them whenever you like. They use fresh ingrediants and have a very friendly and well-trained staff. And compared to other pizza joints - Papa Murphy's DOES NOT compromise QUALITY for VALUE!

I honestly thought this pizza was just disgusting. I reallly tried to give it a chance, I honestly did. I guess I am obviously a person who came of age in the 1980's...pizza is supposed to be done when you go to pick it up, or when they bring it to your house. Why would anyone want to buy a raw pizza to make for themselves? I guess it is one way to make people feel better about themselves, when all they are really doing is buying MORE fast food ! But seriously, if the pizza actually tasted good after you cooked it yourself, it might be worth it. But their sauce is pretty horrible...

Get it how you want it..it's fresh and delicous, easy, only a little pricey unless they are running a special on the kind of pizza you want!

Nasty stuff here, I am not into baking their crappy pizza, if I fire up the Oven and do any Pizza baking it will be a Pizza I made, not this crap.

Finally they are building a PaPa Murphy's in my town. Used to get in Nevada and it is terrific pizza. To me the concept of Take N. Bake makes good sense. No more barely warm pizza delivered to my door, and am tired of most frozen pizzas.

First of all, anyone who can not bake these pizzas has to be retarded. It is so easy and because they are take-and-bake they can sell the pizzas at an awesome price. I don't know what store these people went to, but Papa Murphy's is the freshest pizza place. They use all fresh toppings, make thier own dough, and grate/cut all the cheeses and veggies. The best thing is they will make any pizza however you want it as long as they have the supplies. They can do 1/4 or 2/3 any way you want it. I think you are all thinking of Papa Johns, which copied Papa Murphys.

Great pizza. It's made fresh and right in front of you. Another good thing is that you get to cook it for as long as you want. Whether it's too crispy or too doughy is up to you. But for some reason the people that make my pizza just can't get my name right. Whether by accident or design it's irritating. It's like saying that you aren't worth remembering.

Bad concept. Go buy a California Pizza Kitchen Frozen pizza on sale. They put cheddar, on a pepperoni pizza. WHO PUTS CHEDDAR, on a pizza? Oh wait, I remember... my DORM in COLLEGE. (that was run by the same people who do food at planes, prisons, and hospitals... Sodexho)

Not only does it have a good taste, but if the instructions are followed it always comes out done perfectly. It is especially a boon to "burb" dwellers with no pizza delivery service

This is too funny, I just had this for the 1st time today. Everyone at work was raving about this pizza.Cheap, you cook it at home. Went there, I thought this is cool, the workers were very friendly, the place was clean, the pizza looked awesome as I brought it home. Hmmm, we cook it on this "cardboard tray"? It was done, I have never had any food in my life with so much grease on it.I got through one piece, finished half of the second,and i was full and nauseated.This was awful. My grlfriend got sick, you know the kind of sick where you have to run to the bathroom alot?? After we were done the 3/4th's remaining pizza sat there on the counter, it must have weighed 20 lbs after the grease solidified as it cooled.

It has an beerish taste to it- yuck.

Papa John's makes a horrible pizza, and this must be his brother, Papa Murphy.

For those of you unfamiliar with Papa Murphy's pizza (formerly Papa Aldo's), this is a great concept. The pizza is cheaper than you will find anywhere, and you bake it in your own oven to make it as soft or as crispy as you like it. It's really good tasting pizza and, like I said, the price is right on!
