Very few things you can do are more emotionally satisfying as giving your time,extra cash and energy to a worthy cause.However,use caution when giving money-sadly there are a lot of scams out there posing as "charity".That's why I prefer to volunteer.

I would love to do charity work. You are surrounded by good people and it is actually more joyful to give then receive. The reason why that sounds so wrong is because no one has opened themselves up enough to want to experience that joy. There is nothing more delightful then helping someone else out.
