I got a little teary-eyed when I treated myself to Manolo Blahnik boots.

Only if I've found something I know someone will like and had the cash to get it.

Im not a shop a holic usually. Whenever i see something at the thrift shop that i can resell for more on Craigslist is very satisfying!

Say goodbye to your wallet. Thankfully I usually get gift cards from people around the Holidays.

If you are shopping for "emotional satisfaction",you are an addict. Our culture is insidiously materialistic, constantly brainwashing the un-witting that the next purchase will fill the empty hole in their lives.Who has not been sucked into this trap? Learn to spend your hard won money on things that nourish yourself and are eco-friendly.There's already too much plastic crap in this world.Emotional satisfaction comes from PEOPLE,not "things".Madison Avenue be damned!

I hate going to the shops but once I'm there, I feel happier! I don't mind the shopping purely for getting more food! I can try different things out and it is so satisfying to know that I have gotten the shopping out the way and that I have my food stock replenished. But I am a typical man which means I hate clothes shopping. It is boring.

I like shopping for: Food, gifts for friends/family, pet stuff, books, home stuff. I hate shopping for: Clothes. Shoes. It would rank higher, but I HATE shopping for clothes that much. It's clear that fashion designers obviously do not have my body type in mind. And I hate most fashions. I hate wearing stuff with logos all across the front, I don't like sequins or rhinestones on my clothes, and I'm not big on showy patterns and stuff. And why is everything PINK??? So, that doesn't give me a lot of clothing to choose from.

When I 'm in the midst of shopping, I feel very satisfied and even a little exhilarated, but within 24 hours I feel deflated when I realize that that new outfit or MAC eyeshadow is not going to radically change my life.

Shopping is usually more of a hassle for me than a satisfying experience. I can understand how other people love it, but it doesn't work for me.

Shopping for groceries.. 1. Shopping for clothes.. 2. Shopping for gifts.. 3. Shopping for electronic toys, beer, new fishing tackle, or something to make your sweetie happy.. 4. Not having any shopping to do.. 5.
