To be able to build something is very satisfying. I took classes years ago in woodworking and I still am proud of the things that I built with my own two hands and my tools.

Creating, or that mater taking something a part, always brings a sense of calm to me.

You know, I always feel strangely good about this. Taking a look at my creation at the end, be it a sound system, satellite dish, or the very satifying lightsaber here and there, is always a treat.

This can be quite rewarding. It could be a work of art or a fresh paint job on you house or motorcycle. It could be gardening or building your child a treehouse. It could be cleaning up litter in the woods. It could be playing a musical instrument or finding a broken one and fixing it.It could be rebuilding your carbuerator or knitting or making a tasty meal. When you use your hands to do something good for others or yourself, you connect with a sense of satisfaction, sufficiency and accomplishment that may very well transcend the thing created itself.

...is this implying something? XD In the long run I hate anything I create by hand because I don't usually like the way it turns out. Kind of like the numerous things in Art I have done before.

This is great and gives you a lot of satisfaction to know that you have created something. Even with labour jobs, I actually like them because it makes you fitter and stronger. But I give this a 4 because there are some people who may not find this satisfying especially if they have injuries or back problems. But I suppose, everyone who creates something will find it satisfying.

Creating something new is a deeply satisfying experience. Sculpture, if you have the facilities for it, is a great way to be expressive; it's great to fully immerse oneself in a project.

As I do not see woodworking as a separate entry in the category, this item must do. I've been working wood for many years and although not as accomplished as I would like to be, I love the results I get. Even better, though, is the time spent planning and building.
