I had an unpleasant experience with Pizza hut in poway branch. I ordered a pizza and has asked to wait for 15 minutes for a chicken supreme pizza. Close to 10 minutes I have given a cold pizza that was left in the rack made for some one else, I guess. I don't have an issue with that if the pizza was good. The pizza was uncooked and it tasted so bad (the worst I ever had in my life) and had to throw out. Our dinner was just a soup!

At the same time I bought pizza from the same place before, it was good and never had to complain, but this one was horrible. I hope they will take care of it.

as hard as it is these days with everyone we are no different we went to pizza hut and we ate from the buffet thinking it woud not cost as much as going to applbees we had to pay over $34.00 for just 3 of us we could have gone to applbees and ate there and got better food and feel more better health wise we will NOT go back to pizza hut again we should have figured it out when no price for the buffet was out there to see i rate this with (NO STARS) at all not happy at all we were not able to leave the waitress a tip for when we payed for the food there was no money left for her i say sorry to all waitress's and waiters's who work at pizza hut for you won't find any tips there very upset springfield,mo. val they want me to rate with a star so i put 1 star what realy mean is agian (NO STARS)

I have went into the Pizza Hut in Lexington Va. several times, and I have found the same problem every time I have went, and the problem begins with the general district manager, now come on Pizza Hut I really hope you do not want someone as rude as this man is representing your company.
Every time I am in this Pizza Hut this man is extremely disrespectful to his employee's. I have witnessed him on many occasions him yelling at them in front of the whole restaurant. This behavior should not be excepted especially by your company. This pizza hut is located in a small town and everyone I speak with has made the same comments about this man, so If your wondering why your business has slowed down at this location you need to look at your district manager Joe Thomas. I have always wondered why they went through so many different employee's, now I know why. I know I won't be returning until he is replaced.

As an ex-employee of Pizza Hut, it is extremely easy for me to form an educated opinion on their service and quality. I worked there over a year and overall I think we offered terrible customer service. The upper management, even corporate, are all greedy and labor obsessed. They do everything they can to cut the costs, and in doing so, they treat their employees like dirt. Cutting their hours left and right and playing with their well-being. (i'm talking money flow) They give you the money one week, and then they take it away the next. Communication is non-existent. We were never informed of advertisements or specials, etc. With that said, employees do not and did not work hard. Why would they? I never once heard a compliment given from a manager. Sometimes, due to labor cuts, I would see employees sweating terribly in the middle of winter and quite frankly, working their butts off. No one was ever rewarded. I mean, no one was expecting a raise (because we all knew that was a fairytale), but management completely neglected doing something as small as saying a genuine thank you. My management team was always grouchy and usually rude towards me, but I was no exception. But, to sum some things up!: Pizza Hut really does not care about their employees. They do not communicate with their employees. They do not reward their employees in any way. With that said, giving good customer service is hard. However, I think that I did a good job. But most every employee at Pizza Hut is disgruntled and it all starts from the top. When almost every employee becomes unhappy, in turn the customers suffer as well. It is a vicious cycle. And as far as Pizza Hut's food goes: no love goes into it. By any means. I would suggest another Pizza place. Sorry, Pizza Hut.

i dined at the pizzahut in normal,illinois yesteday at lunch time. i feel pizza hut needs to offer better pizza at the buffet. salad bar was fine, but we had to wait 20 minutes for pizza that wasn't dried out or thin crust. all we wanted was some sausage or pepperoni pizza, but all the pizza on the buffet had multiple toppings. everyone will eat pepperoni or sausage, but not everyone will eat mushrooms, olives, pineapple. one like that is fine, but all the pizzas were like that.
and wha'ts with the new decorating? is it everywhere? our table had a roll of papertowels| ;paper towels sitting on the table with the parmesan, salt and pepper. not napkins, but a roll of sams club paper towels. and it was designed that was. every table had a roll of paper towels on a black metal towel holder. how ghetto is that? at first it was funny, then i felt insulted. i don't sit a roll of paper towels on my dinner table, i have a napkin holder like other people. didn't like it at all

I think people should give restaurant employees a little more credit for what they do. They deal with people like you every single day they work and after a while probably begin to take it personally. Coporate is the area where the concern should be placed. Like the people who work for them get paid enough anyway!!

It's okay, I've had worse.

once Pizzahut made all their dough from scratch every day, now it is all frozen. once pizzahut had good service inside their stores, now they don't. The things that built their business are being abandoned, in search of a broader market appeal. In attempting to be everyone's choice for every pizza occasion(now pasta, sandwiches, wings etc.), they have stopped being my choice for a relaxed casual eating environment.
Today their pies come in flimsy packages, cheesesticks in a paper sack anyone? The dining room is hectic and dirty as 2 waitresses attempt to serve everyone, and cash them in, and bus their tables. The manager is nice but claims he can't hire enough people because the budget is too low for that. And it appears he was the only one making pizzas. They were ok, but you can tell the ingredients were frozen. Now there is no more cheese on top of the pizzas, unless you pay extra. The toppings fall off, no cool mozzerella stringies between the slices when you pull them apart :( They have a value menu full of low quality offerings. Is this supposed to be fast food, a buffet, or a nice relaxing place? Well its none. I guess when you start selling $5.00 pizzas that suck you can't afford to pay enough workers anymore?
The only thing that ever brings me back is the memory of good times when I was young, and Pizzahuts were nice.

It is August 7th of 2009. We ordered a pizza for delivery. Pizza Hut is literally 5 minutes from here, but my car is broke down. First they charged me $20! for a pepperoni pizza. Then it took almost an hour to get here. The delivery guy was a 40 year old greasy teenager. He was rude and short with my son. The pizza got on the table barely warm. I opened the lid to the flatest, greasiest, pizza that looked about 3 days old and ran over twice! It was horrible! Talk about heartburn city!! I need to remind myself NEVER to order from Pizza Hut again!!

I live in Coolidge, AZ and there is really NO WHERE to get delivery aside from Pizza Hut and Dominos. In the past the Pizza Hut driver that delivered to my house was always rude and short with me. He was the one that had the cripple hand? I just kind of accepted it since I dont really have any other options in Coolidge, however last week I ordered a pizza and a NEW driver showed up. His name was Josh and he had to be the NICEST guy ever! He was polite, professional, and prompt.

He has now delivered to my house twice and so I think the other guy got fired. Thank you for replacing him with Josh. He's the best!

My wife, grandson and I dined at the relative new Pizza Hut in Boerne, Texas, on the evening of July 14, 2009. We each selected the buffet. The salad was good but the salad bar was somewhat trashed out with salad droppings scattered about. It was never cleaned while we were there even though the salad dressing was refilled. The pizza available through the buffet was adequate provided you liked pepperoni and/or cheese. Pepperoni was on everything except the straight cheese pizza. We requested a Canadian bacon pizza. I was not standing in line when it was put out so the other patrons beat me to it. No attempt was made to replace it while we were there. We had to request eating utensils. We also had to request a refill on our drinks. I also noticed others requesting eating utensils and drink refills. The cinnamon sticks were all depleted with no attempt to put out more while we were there. When I paid for our meals I informed the individual taking my money of my disappointment. He made no attempt to correct the situation. JD - Boerne, TX

If I am going to get fast food style pizza, I'd opt for Pizza Hut. You can't beat the $5.00 per pizza deal when your buying for a large group. But you really can't expect anything spectacular with them. It seems less greasy than Dominos which is why I'd choose them over Pizza Hut.

The one reason I order from there is their stuffed crust pizza. It's either that or crusts end up in the garbage.

Worst service ever. After school, me and some friends ordered pizza to be delivered to the school. The guy at the restraunt was coughing into the phone as he talked, and he couldn't even figure out the price of our order. We changed our order and they gave us a new total. When the pizza arrived the delivary man took the money and walked out as if he just ripped us off. We looked at the receipt and they charged us 3 reorders, when we only reordered once. We WERE ripped off. I will tell everyone never to go to Pizza Hut again. Or should I say, POT HUT!!!!!

The menu is really expensive and the bread sticks are very thin,NO SAUCE,the salads are on plates now.

this pizza tasted exactly like garbage. As soon as i took the first bite i threw up everywere. I couldn't avoid this brown cashier who was so annoying i know why were at war. Racist brown employyees overpriced garbage food give this a 1 only because i cant rate it lower

the pizza is okay for the price that you pay. i agree with other people that sometimes it seems like you're just waiting there for hours but that's why there's delivery or better yet, call in before and go pick up the pizza later.

Well I will start of saying Pizza Hut pizza is pretty good but if you want to eat it there, it just seems like you are there for hours waiting, and waiting and did I say waiting. It doesnt seem to matter what location, you are always just waiting and can never seem to find your waitress??? Anyway I seldom get from them anymore but I would only order if I did and those Toscani pasta dishes that they have are horrible! First off they act like you are getting enough for a family, NOT! Also the one time I ordered them for my family the macaronic wasnt even cooked fully and they were crunchy! Yes I said it, crunchy and I know I was supposed to be eating macaroni not pizza crust so pizza hut is not one of my favorite "go to" spots, I would just rather order pizza from a neighborhood spot and would never recommend that pasta dishes to anyone, especially if you dont have good teeth! LOL.

Pzones are the best things sold in pizza hut. Tascani pastas are complete bs. 3 pounds of pasta my ass. the pan pizzas are also good. meatlovers!

PIZZA HUT BRAWL
It all started on Feb 14th about 1:50 to 2:00 i arrived at the pizza hut location at 1328 Fordham Drive, Virginia Beach,VA, United States, 23464, Phone number (757)495-9999. I was greeted by a waitress and seated. She proceeded to take my drink order which consist of a fruit mix drink and also a water for my boy. My boy also order a salad bar. The waitress instructed my friend to where the salad bar was and said she would be right back with drinks. Now as I'm looking around the restaurant i see 1 or 2 dirty tables 2 or3 empty tables and the rest filled with people and 3 tables where already eating. I also glanced my eyes at one of the staff member's a young girl who seemed to be very high. Now 15min later more people arrived the table next to me left the table next to that table left and also i finally received my water and fruit drink. Now once i received my drink i didn't like the taste so i asked for a water instead and at that point in time i also order my food which consisted of 2 med pizza one peperoni the other pepperoni sausage and hot peppers. Now after that the table behind me just set down for 5 minutes had a table of 5 and already had their drinks and was enjoying them, also the table to the side of me was very dirty pizza sauce on the floor and the table beside that was no better. Now the lady went straight to the back to get my water and than she set it on the front counter close to the register where you would go to pay when it was time to leave and did i mention uncovered also. Finally after my water had set out for just about 5minutes i finally was brought to my table, and as my water was being brought the family behind me received there food there was also a couple that just arrived and set in front of me that got their drinks quickly and also a new table to far left that came in. Now while people are coming in less tables are available and still the whole time i was there was no cleaning up was done. So finally 25minutes later my 2 pizza's came out and also the couple in front of me pizza came and also the couple to very far end pizza came. Now finally as I'm about to enjoy my 2nd slice of pizza after already being frustrated the lady starts to finally clean the table right next to me with really strong bleach to the point i had to put down my food cause all i could taste is bleach in my mouth. At that point in time i asked to speak to the manager about the terrible service i have had.. And the manager said my food came quick i was not waiting a long time and he said he would do nothing for me and he would only give me his name and if i wanted to file a compliant i could do that. So at that point in time while the restaurant was full of customers i told the manager i don't want my food and i said i am leaving me and my friend and the manager said you are going no where and i asked the manager nicely not to touch me and started to walk towards the door i left my pizza and everything on the table. Now the manager ran to the door and put his hands up covering both of the doors and i informed him once again please do not touch me and i proceeded to squeeze pass him and i got pass him a little than he pushed me and i pushed him back than he grab me. My friend tried to pull him off me but he preceded to wrestle with me as i was trying to break free he finally trip and he landed on me and out of no where a delivery driver came in the building and jump on top of me, while i was on the ground and said they where not going get off me until the police came. And the girl who was high preceded to call he police on both me and my friend. And i was on the ground forcibly for at least 10 to 15minutes until the police came.I explained to the police what happened along with another customer actually the last customer who ate and got their food explain how the manager attacked me as i tired to leave i didn't press charges and i was still made to pay the bill. Now a few days later i called the to the corporate office and made a compliant it took a week for someone to get back to me about my complaint,and when they did i was at work and could get the call.They did leave a number but when i tried to call back for like 4 days no one would never answered. So i finally called back customer service and asked to speak to manager, and explain how i been calling back the number and have not got a response By the way i did leave a totally of 10 message on the person voice mail from corporate to call me back. The manager from customer service said they would re submit the issue and have someone call me back. Again they called again from corporate i was at work tried to call back for a whole week and didn't get a response back till a week later on a Monday wen i just so happened to catch the receptionist at her desk this happened on 2nd of march. Now i explained to the head person at corporate the issue at hand and he asked what would i like done and i explained free pizza for a year, and he said he would investigate it through out the week and give me a call back by the 5th of march. The 5th came around still no response and I really feel no one is taking me serious about this issue. Is there something that can be done cause business should not be conducted this way

My family and I have ordered pizza from Pizza Hut every week for years but since their new pizza has come out and they no longer offer the pan pizza we have stopped ordering from there. I think the new pizza crust taste like cardboard and I am very unhappy with the new menu.
I'm just wondering if anyone eles feels the same way. Maybe it is just me.

OMG, I'm from Wichita where it all began, but $20 for one large pizza. I don't think I'm being spoiled here when one pizza cost's $5 for three. Pizza hut, I used to crave when I was a kid, but this is way too much. We'll just see what happens to the company within this psychial year if they'll even be open for business.

Not sure what happened to Pizza Hut....all I can say is they used to be great and now their pizza's are lackluster at best. The last one I ordered was a Meat Lover's Pizza with the hand tossed crust. The crusts used to be buttery, rich, and toasty. But unfortunately it had a thin, bland crust with no flavor, hardly any sauce, and not much cheese at all on top. I'm pretty one of the meat selections was missing, too. I am pretty disappointed. I've always considered Pizza Hut my favorite pizza place, but not any more. This pizza reminded me of Cici's Pizza and one I ordered before that seemed to be headed in that direction, as if it was part of trend to get worse. What happened?

I personally have always loved Pizza Hut, even worked there as a kid, but the pizza is expensive they charge for delivery, understandable when gas prices were higher and seems to be thrown together. We had a cheese pizza which was burnt, and a taco pizza which there was so much lettuce it overtook the pizza, no taco chips and too much refried beans. I cannot say that I will never order from them again but there are so many other good pizza places out there that I would much rather spend my money on especially since we eat out so little these days. Very disappointing and I guess I should have called and had ,y order replaced but I figured instead I would just comment to the website. Thanks anyways Pizza Hut!

horrible service wher i live. the pizza itself is good but smooshed pizzas, forgotten items, and the last time they didnt even have our order in the system when we went to pick it up. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM A WINSTON SALEM NC PIZZA HUT AGAIN!

I have to amend this review a little and give Pizza Hut an extra star because when I was a kid, me and my friends would call Pizza Hut and order pizza to some students in our class as a joke.  I, too, was a victim of the Pizza Hut pranks.

Originial: I stopped eating Pizza Hut a while ago. It gives me the worst heartburn/indigestion ever. It's really the only thing I can think of that gives me trouble. Maybe it's the sauce. Tums, anyone? 

So i saw the commercials Pizza mia $5. Went into pizza hut, says right on there sign $5. So we ask for one, shes says "$7" and we said, it says 5. then she said "oh thats wrong, haha" We left.

Might as well call it "Pizza Hell". Try arguing with a Latin-American cashier who doesn't speak a lick of English that the pizza wasn't properly cooked. Aparently they've launched a new menu item, Pizza Hut Pasta. Are they trying to destroy the reputation of Italian food as well? Cheers..

Pizza Hut's success has to be a product of the aggressive marketing because the pizza sucks. I would rather eat frozen pizza.

I just waited over an hour for a cold pizza. When I called to complain, I got a rude cashier who told me to bring it back in for a new one. This is the second bad experience with Pizza Hut and there wont be a third. Pizza Hut, your services SUCKS and your PIES BLOW. Dominoes from now on

haven't had pizza hut in a long time, certainly never had any from the Pelham AL restaurant off 119 (usually have Tortugas off the 52 exit off 65 - local chain, not bad). anyway, didn't have much time today and the pizza hut is just 2 min away from our house, so ordered a couple of med pizzas - pepperoni lovers and super supreme on the traditional crust. boy, these were nasty - soggy crust with a funny aftertaste. the clerk who took our money was downright rude and then disappeared before the pizzas were ready. they sat in the holding area behind the counter for about 10 minutes before some other guy came out and gave them to us. the restaurant looked pretty grungy too - floor was slick, greasy. won't be coming back anytime soon...

everytime i eat pizza hut i get sick!!

Just ordered Pizza Hut's Pizza Mia for the first time. Sucked! For the price, I could have gotten way better pizza at Papa Johns. I had to literally choke these dry things down. I will never order Pizza Mia's again. Definitely not the Pizza Hut pizza I've had in the past

Don't eat much pizza any more but Pizza Hut is usually most convenient for me and pretty good pie. I had one of their pasta meals recently and it had about five small pieces of chicken in it. Mostly noodles and sauce. Tasted good but Costco has much better pasta dishes from the frozen food dept. I do like placing my order on-line and driving over to the restaurant to pick it up. Plus it shares a parking lot with our local liquor store. How cool is that?

The food was amazing but the service stunk. We arrived at the place at 6:00 and it was not crowded at all. We had our drinks taken at 6:45. We recieved our drinks at 7:15. We had our orders taken at 7:45. We recieved our food at 8:30. It was so bad and it wasn't crowded. The waitress forgot many things and took a long time to give us everything.

Pizza hut is the worst pizza offered in a national franchise, it use to be on top, the proplem lies with them not making good pizza anymore.  they no longer make there own dough, they buy artificial cheese, and put no spices in there sauce or infused on there toppings.  they make a commericial bland pizza to try and cover all tastes, but that can never be done,  there pizza is horrible cold, there is no stretch in there cheese, and there pepperonis are so thin you can practically see through them.  Pizza hut has lost sight of making good pizza and focuses now on side dishes and specialty crusts,  with there sights set on maximum profit only.  there pizza mia is down right cheap tasting, and disgusting.  come on pizza hut turn the ship around and get back to making real pizza.

Well I buy Pizza Hut every Fridays and in diffrent locations. I have never ever had bad service or non satisfying pizza. The cheese is excellent and the dough is soft. For those people who want to critisize Pizza Hut badly I want to say you guys are just haters. I could bet that people from Domminos or Papa Johns are writing those bad comments. Well you guys suck!!

I think it all depends on what pizza hut you are working with. The pizza that I dine and order from has very good service. I order from them a lot, and they seemed to be very quick and efficient. The pizza is hot, and the order is correct. There was one time that I did not hear them knock at the door, and they had canceled my order. I called back later, wondering where my order was- they not only made me a new pizza, but they sent me the old one back as well. The manager was very nice about it. I think the pizza huts that you guys go to suck because the people suck. The one I go to is superb.

90+ minutes to get my pizza and it was cold (zip 90025). I used to be a VIP member and quit 4 years ago due to 2 hour delivery times. i ordered online and never even got an email confirmation. They suck!

With usuck's comments aside about the reviewers here...I do like Pizza Hut best of the national chains.  I never had the problems others have with bad service and wrong orders.  And the hand tossed is tops.  I also get personal pan pizzas at the pizza hut express and they are always good.

I think most of the people that post here are just stuck up or cheap anyway. Go somewhere else. I think Pizza Hut has very good pizza.

Went to a "dine-in" restaurant and:
1. We ordered Pepsi and they brought Wild Cherry Pepsi. The waiter indicated that he knew of the problem and "they were fixing it". Why would he then bring the wrong soda when they knew there was problem?
2. We ordered 5 orders of breadsticks and 10 minutes later, we received 1 order. Gave complaint and we received 3 more orders 30 minutes from when they were ordered. We gave complaint since we were missing 1 order of breadsticks and we received it 45 minutes after we placed the order.
3. When we received the last order of breadsticks, we received 1 of the 3 pies ordered. We gave complaint and 20 minutes later we received the rest of the order.
4. Silverware was dirty and had crust marks of prior use.
5. Waiter offered us to get a 10% discount on the bill and we received $3.00 off the whole order. We spoke to Manager and she helped us in getting the discount.
6. It took them 30 minutes to bring me my check so that I could pay to go home.

Totally unacceptable for the type of service that they seem to "offer".

Got the order all wrong, cancelled it and left my family with no dinner! Consider the quality of the person taking the order. We tried ordering from Pizza hut just to find out that the person taking the order had our phone number wrong... she never verified it! 60 minutes later, I called back and found out the order has been cancelled. Spoke with the manager and she did not even offer to give us the pizza for free. Never order from Pizza hut... you are better off going to Papa Johns.
