Ray Leonard was one of my favorite fighters growing up. I liked him for the same reason I liked Ali - He fought the best, and he beat the best - Plus, I've always liked flashy, arrogant fighters who could back up what they say, like Ali and Leonard did - There is no question that Ray had some "pop" in his punches, but I think that there were much harder hitters in the various weight classes that Ray fought in, ie., Duran, Hearns, Hagler, and Ray Robinson, to name just a few. Leonard beat three of the four that I mentioned, but I think they were all harder hitters than Ray.

One of the most naturally gifted of all. Instinct, optimal use of his strengths and a perfect understanding of opponents' weaknesses earned for him his position in the history of the sport.
