I was a fan of Natassia Kinski and her nude shots go a long way here.  This is far from the worst movie.  It is full of kinky stuff including possible incest, bestiality, lycanthropy of the cat variety, and other family fare.

Terrible script and direction (director Paul Schrader, usually quite talented, was allegedly high on coke for the entire film; most of the actual work was by the ADs). Only tolerable thanks to Kinski, near the height of her beauty here.

I actually kinda enjoyed this movie when it came out, although the premise was ridiculous. But I had a huge crush on Nastassia Kinski at the time, which may have eased the pain somewhat. Malcolm McDowell, as always, was interesting, although not really convincing as Kinski's older brother. I believe the script was written by Alan Ormsby, who starred in the cult classic "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things." For sure, it's no classic, but hardly the worst horror movie ever made.

Tolerable because of the nude shots of Natanya Kinksy (sp?).
