Too good to on this list. Most vulgar and tasteless maybe but well made.

Four stars for "a matter of taste" rating. . .any movie with vampires and exotic dancers can't be all that bad. . .How can this be considered a terrible film when "Solarbabies" or "Ice Pirates" are considered?

It is garbage, without question, but it's entertaining garbage...a crude, violent, grade-Z comic book of a movie. This is not a film to take seriously, or for the easily offended. Harvey Keitel is a hoot as the religious apostate suddenly confronting Mexican-style vampires, George Clooney is less than believable as the tough-talking outlaw but competent enough for most of what he's required to do here, and Quentin Tarantino...well, let's just say that Tarantino is a far, FAR better director than he is an actor. This was the first time I saw Salma Hayek in a film, and all I can say, as a red-blooded heterosexual male is...WOW!!! Cheech Marin is hilarious in a variety of quirky roles. Also featured in cameo roles are zombie make-up artist Tom Savini, "Blaxploitation" veteran Fred Williamson, TV veteran Michael Parks, bad movie veteran John Saxon...Keep your expectations low, have a beer or 2 with your friends, and you may have a good time watching this movie. If not, fast forward to the scene where Hayek does her enticing dance. All I can say, many years after first seeing the picture is...WOW!!!
