Bad movie but fun to watch for all of the errors and cheap sets. It is funny even though it is not supposed to be.

Wasn't that the one with the shower curtain seperating the 'cabin' of the spacecraft? Hilarious. . .but not nearly as bad as Ed Wood's classic 'Glen or Glenda'. . .oh well, the man had a vision.

Easily...the best movie of all time.

Bad is bad. It's that simple.

It's as awful as they come, everyone knows the details, so no need to rehash them here. I do find the Tim Burton homage/ parody of Wood's life to be arguably Burton's best film though.

I agree with Irishgit. This movie is bad in a good way. It's so bad and so campy that it's actually great fun to watch. One of my favorites. Hey, if you're gonna bomb.. bomb big.

Enough already about this dismal work. It is worth the watch once to see what all the hype is about. I first heard of this in the Golden Turkey book published by the Medveds about 20-25 years ago. If they hadn't unearthed it and declared it to be the worst movie of all times, we would not be bothered by this sewage today. It is frankly embarrassing and amateurish to watch.

Yeah, it's real, REAL bad. One of those movies that you really do have to see at least once in your lifetime, just to witness the epitome of agonizingly-awful film-making. The problem I have with Ed Wood movies is that they don't hold up to repeated viewings, like some of my favorite so-bad-they're-good movies like "Frankenstein's Daughter" or "She Demons." Most of Wood's movies are painfully, wretchedly boring, and the agony can only increase with repeated viewings (although I can only imagine the most dedicated masochist watching any of these things more than once). Actually, "Plan 9" is probably not the worst thing Wood ever did. That "honor" has to go to "Orgy of the Dead", which is an actual physical ordeal to sit all the way through. Torture? Wire someone up like Alex in "Clockwork Orange" and force them to sit through repeated viewings of this wretched excuse for a film. They'll be begging for mercy after one reel.

So bad, its good. One of the most intriguing pieces of garbage ever consigned to cellulloid.
