I went to the one in Campbell CA. The place was filthy. The chicken breast and wing were so small it was a joke. I could tell that the manager was having 2nd thoughts and discussed it with the guy that was cooking but he decided to give it to me anyway. I love the one on Speedway in Tucson but everytime I go to the one in Campbell, something goes wrong.

Went to the Waldorf, MD location today and ordered 2 large turkey meals. I noticed the portions looked small, not to mention unequal. I verified with the server that they were large meals, and he confirmed.Drove the 10 minutes home and carefully weighed the turkey, which was now cold. Though a large turkey meal is supposed to have 8 ounces of turkey, one of my "large" meals had 5.2 ounces, the other had 6.1 ounces.I obviously feel ripped off, especially considering the meals were nearly $10 each.

Its good! Their chicken is not dry, its pretty moist and u get a decent selection of side dishes that are also pretty good (roasted potatos, green beans, corn, corn bread etc). They are pretty affordable for the amount of food you get too.
autumnyaar 07/24/2009
I don't like it. It seems mediocre. I can get a better rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, and for cheaper in my opinion. Bleh food, stuff I can make at home, except with a worse taste.
TheRealHowardS 06/01/2009
The food at my local Boston Market rarely rises to the level of mediocrity. Surprisingly, the frozen dinners sold under the Boston Market name in supermarkets are among the best.

Boston Chicken was great, Boston Market is OK.

Extremely overpriced junk food.

Really went down hill over the years, at least here in MD, it's a shame they don't sell ham anymore. Their sides also taste different.

I hate driving all the way to Boston just to eat. That is a long way from Carroll County, New Hampshire.

I don't think Boston Market has a location in the Fayetteville, NC area. I've never heard of them.

If you get it hot off the grill this can be the cure for the burger blues. The only problem like any other joint you may get board with the choices.

There's only one left in our area, but their food is pretty decent, and the prices aren't so bad either. It's a lil better than KFC.

They are better than average. Not really a "fast-food" place per se. A vain attempt to re-create home cooking.

preety good.

It was my first visit to Boston Market ever and went since one of my friends said he really liked the White Rotisserie Chicken, and he thought I should try it too. When went in there were about 5 people in front of us and just 1 person taking and processing orders while the other person who turns out was the manager helping her. When the wait time started to go up we asked people in front of us how long they had been there, they said it was almost 15 minutes. What amazed me was that at least 4 employees were just sitting close-by and chatting around. On asking them they said they were on a break. Hats off to scheduling at that place. Alas the food turned out to be good else it would have been a horrific one hour spent there.

We don't have a Boston Market where I live. This fact has probably saved me a considerable amount of money. The cornbread is incredible.
Molfan 04/22/2008
a 3.5. nice change of pace. i do not go there too often. maybe twice a year. they have changed it some over the years. i usually get the chicken. i like to get to pick which two side dishes and quite a few to pick from and the corn bread is nice. not great but nice every now and then. we wait to get a coupon to save a couple dollars. we still eat there but it reminds me of cafeteria style food. my husband tried their sandwiches and said they are pretty good.
trebon1038 04/22/2008
Never eaten in one...Don't even think there are any around here.
GenghisTheHun 04/17/2008
I have tried it and it is better than average.

Rotisserie chicken just isn't my thing.
Dishwallafied 04/14/2008
I love their chicken, but I'm mostly hooked on their mac & cheese. I wish there was one nearer to me.
minkey 12/14/2007
I've got to give Boston Market 5 stars. For what it is, a fast food chicken and vegetable chain, the food is great. My favorites are the dark meat with the creamed spinach, green bean casserole and the cooked apples. Other favorites are the mac & cheese and sweet potatoes with the marshmallows on top. If you need to bring a dish to a pot luck or something and don't want to cook, call these guys, they'll give you one of the bins for $20 that's bigger than the trays they have on display. You're going to spend more than that on ingredients and time if you cook it yourself probably.

I tried Boston Market for the first time yesterday and I thought it was an okay tasting place. I just didn't like how it didn't fill me up when I wanted to. The cornbread tasted a bit stale where I was at. But overall it's a good place if you're tired of Mcdonalds and Burger King and all the fattening fast food places.
ratingman 10/03/2007
Boston Market has always been good when ever I go the meat is always prepared well and the sides are usually good the mac and cheese is a little on the cheese side and I wonder how long it may have been standing out for and it always looks clean but looks can be decieving. All in all they are pretty good and I am happy with their services

Yum - I remember eating at the one on Reston Parkway in Reston, VA. Great chicken and sides.
LADYBLACKPEARL 09/06/2007
I dont know what happened here, but Boston Market, or atleast the ones in my area, fell off big time! I used to love their food, but a few times I recieved half cooked chicken (at different locations), and the side dishes were nasty as if they were from a completely different recipe from what I was used to. This in turn made my lose any desire to eat at Boston Market.

Wow I'm surprized to see so many negative reviews. I think it depends on the individual store. We had a WONDEFUL Boston Market when I lived in Fayetteville NC. It was a real treat to eat there and everything I tried was fantastic.. (that comes from a regular cook that is very picky). We esp loved the mac n cheese. The food was always hot, fresh and perfect, the employees were always friendly and helpful. Anytime grabbing a bite to eat out was brought up that was always one of my first choices. I have tried another store in another location and it left a lot to be desired... it did not hit the spot and I was really dissapointed. Now I live far from any boston markets in Texas. I miss it so much ha! I hope they do not go out of business by the time I may move near one again. The frozen meals are horrible IMO. I tried a few and will never do that again. Tried a few recipes for thier stuff and can't find one that tastes like the real mac n cheese. If you have a good one please send it to me.

It's a good substitution if you don't feel like making dinner but quite frankly I'd rather eat at home. I don't like the food because it's not as special as good home cooking. Boston Market was ruined for me when it was all my grandmother used to order when I'd come and visit.
