Irrelevant. Al Gore was a conservative Democrat in the 1980's and Texas was very Democratic at the time. It wouldn't come as a surprise that she could presumably support a Democratic candidate for President. This fact still doesn't help her cause with conservative voters who are skeptical of her conservative credentials.
