I somewhat enjoy being in a bar with cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker, but there is something enjoyable there for me. However, most bars I've been around lately no longer permit smoking, so this isn't a viable option. One of the biggest problems with cigarette smoke is that the stale stench lingers on clothing. Its not so bad when somebody is actually smoking, but the smell of smoky clothing is definitely unpleasant.

This is a stinking habit. I get choked up being around cigarette smoke too long.

Cigarettes have no redemming qualities. They cause cancer (my dad was a big time smoker, as was one of my uncles),  and they smell horrible.

They are smelly, but I'm used to it. Most of my family smokes. I'm the only one besides my grandmother who doesn't. And she used to be a smoker.

I hate the smell of cigarettes, it's so nasty and smelly!

I might be more tolerant of smoking if some inventor could come up with a smokeless, non-stinky cigarette. The smell is awful, and if you hang around bars or smokers, the smell migrates to your hair and clothing. Yuck!

Man, if I'm walking down the street and I know that smell is coming in my way, I'll hold my breath or take really small breaths. Not a pleasant smell for me, but what catches me off guard about this smell sometimes is when I happen to laugh or something and it feels like the taste is going straight down my throat. It's too bad non-smokers have to deal with this smell, especially since second-hand smoking can be deadly, especially to any young children in the home.

Cigarette smoke has absolutely no redeeming qualities. Not only does it not smell good, it's proven to be bad for you as well.
