 this police officer was out of line. my son was present when my soon to be ex-husband assaulted someone. he played no part in it except being there but because he was not able to stop his father he is being charged with the crime. when the police came looking for him my friend and i were the only ones at his apt. they came with an ak47 rifle drawn and another officer also had a rifle. i know there are those of you who are saying he must of done something i will say that i am telling the truth that he was present when his father commited an assault. he doesn't have a violent record and in fact all of my friends adore him and wish their children were more like him. but yet this officer after i told him my son was not there and asked him why he had an ak47 rifle he told me he was going to shoot my son and he would shoot him in the back too. now his father had been arrested on the charge was told that they were going to shoot his son for what he caused. i don't justify his actions but he punched a guy a couple of times. he'll get what he deserves but he has told them over and over that our son had nothing to do with it. now when the one officer told me he was going to shoot my son i had a friend on the phone listening and the other officer quickly tried to say he didn't mean it. why were they carrying rifles and not their revolvers? i don't know. why would they want to shoot my son? i really don't know. as time goes on i will be adding more to this list. everything in this list will contain conduct or misconduct that actually has been done by the salt lake city police dept.
