My Dad knew Bronson when he was Charles Buchinski. He was from upstate PA where many hard working Polish and Slavic people worked the coal mines and steel mills. Bronson and my dad worked out together at a gym in Philly right after WWII. As both were in the military, both used their GI Bill benefits for schooling. My dad chose dance lessons. Bronson made the better choice, and went to acting school.
