The original Chick-Fil-A Sandwich is truly incredible. Everything on the menu is well executed and often imitated. A great place to eat 6 days a week!

From seeing all of the comments here, there are a mix of good and horrible experiences. I work at Chick-fil-A in McAllen, TX. According to surveys, our restraunt, just us at that location, is one of the best in the Rio Grande Valley. I have to say that each restraunt is owned rather than having the company run it. So, that means that each location that you go to WILL BE DIFFERENT. Just for you info. we use 6 cups of sugar for the sweer tea, which is freshly brewed, 7 cups of sugar for a 12 qt. container of lemonade, and the chicken IS NOT PACKAGED AND THROWN IN A MICROWAVE, ITS PREPARED, BREADED, AND FRIED AT THE RESTRAUANT. We use peanut oil because it delivers a faster cook time in pressure cookers compared to vegetable oil. We also strive for a serve time of 1-2 minutes indoors, or a 30 second window time in the drive-thru. Hence the reason for the baggers in the dinning area and in drive-thru. Go to any other place, you might as well bring something to do for the next 10 minutes while you wait for your food. And if you think that we make all of the food ready in the morning, your wrong. The Chick-fil-A breasts take a good 4:30 minutes to cook, the nuggets and the strips take 3 minutes to make. And is put under a warmer for no more than 2 minutes. That's how busy and fast we are at this place. If you think Chick-fil-A is losing money because they are closed on Sundays, just take a look at our restraunt. During lunch (11-3), each hour we gross over $1,500. Every day. During dinner (5-8) we also have $1,000 hours. And Saturday's are packed from 11-10. In one normal business day our owner grosses over $13,000. That about the same or better than some of your good sit-down restrauants as Olive Garden and Red Lobster. I love working for this place, flexible schedules, good pay, good hours, and you work side-by-side with the managers and the owner. So, if you have had a negative experience with Chick-fil-A try going to another one or come to my store.

Chic-fil-A has to be the best fast food around. They are alway clean and very tidy. The landscaping and grounds are always clean outside. The company takes prides in their franchises and it shows. The friendliness of their employees is very respectful. Where can you go and say "Thank you" and they reply "My pleasure". Most fast food restaurants cant wait for you to leave. I drive out of my way just to go to Chick-fil-A. I dont have one complaint against the food or the service. I also respect the fact that they are closed Sundays. Thats the way it should be.

Pretty standard chicken sandwich. Not much you can do with it, well, i know there is a million people that will prove me wrong but Chick-Fil-A doesnt have those. So like I said, standard. Good though.

Okay, so I work at Chick Fil A. Reading all this makes me mad. All you people who have eaten there once need to stop whining about how it's overpriced, it wasn't hot, or how you like KFC better. Do you get great fast service by nice, clean-cut employees at KFC, McDonalds, or Wendy's? No, you don't, and you know it. And about being closed on Sundays, I appalaude CFA for keeping closed on the Lord's day. It is what CFA is based on and obviously it doesn't matter if their losing your business for it. They are willing to take that risk. If you think the sweet tea is too sweet, then get the unsweet and sweeten it yourself. Remember, it's not Burger King and you can't have everything your way. The food is great, and it makes it even better if you read the company's mission statement and what they stand for. CFA is a great company and it's great to work for too. Just give it more chances if you had a bad one. But it's not the end of the world if YOU don't like it, because trust me, we've got plenty of raving fans.
PS- and ya'll obviously haven't been to the CFA in Concord, NC at Concord Mills.

This place kills my stomach. They use peanut oil, which I can't take. I mean the food concept is good, but the only thing I can eat without reprucussions here are the chicken salad sandwiches, which I didn't even know were on the menu until my Dad told me. I wish they'd swap out their oil. My only other beef is with the fact that it's closed on Sunday. But I'm atheist, so I think it's ridiculous anyway ;)

this reastraunt is good they should bring them north because there only in the south I went there only one time and the chicken i had was the best compared to other fast food reastraunts. I really loved the honey mustard sauce and when i travel to the south again i will defineantly go there.

Everytime i get a craving while shopping in the mall i get excited and think chic-fil-a, and then i remember they are closed on sundays-and get mad. I love the chicken, the nuggets, the mayo is the most delicious in the world (specially made for them?) dip those waffle fries in ketchup and mayo, yum, the honey mustard is great too. their iced tea rocks also.

Surprised to see it so high. Never heard of it until I moved to the Midwest. What's the rumpus? Maybe it's good in general, but in my experience it was mediocre at best... Chick-fil-a should call itself Average American Junior High Cafeteria Serving Chicken instead. I wouldn't even serve this to Jack Chick!

Food is so-so but quality is about as good as fast food gets. What's with all this whining about being closed on Sundays. Aren't there enough restaurants open on Sundays? I'm glad one chain is taking a stand in these godless, materialistic times we are living in. Not only that but they are proving a national chain can remain competetive by giving their employees a day off rest as well as provide us with clean stores and friendly english speaking employees. If joining the 21st century means making money at all costs, forcing modern believers to work on their sabbath, hiring rude idifferent helpers and not maintaining their property then I don't want any part of it. Now may only a few of those other greedy chains not feel as thow they have to "jump on the bandwagon". Call me a preacher all you want, it doesn't change the facts.

Until very recently I thought it was pronounced "Chick-Feel-A", but I stand corrected. I walked in and discovered that they have a menu that is entirely made up of chicken. The chicken sandwich on wheat was pretty decent.

So, so sandwich. A bun, small piece of chicken, and a single dill pickle chip. Thats so cheap! No lettuce, tomato? Closed on Sundays so your employees can go to church? Yeah Right! Whatever! Wake up Chick fil-a! Its 2006 not 1936! People want a value 7 days a week, not a bunch of hype on how Godly you pretend to be!

PLUSES: Closed Sundays. Family friendly. Very nice employees. ========= That's it. The food is expensive and disappointing. Pay extra for veges on your chicken sandwich and make it a "deluxe?" Come on!! Way overrated, thrown together sandwiches and small portions for a fortune in cash. You could eat at a real restaurant and get filled up for the price. In spite of the above, it's one of the few places I trust enough to let my kids eat it. I know who is in the back cooking and I like what I see, unlike many sit-down places

After trying this a few times since 1999 at various locations, my impression is that the food is pre-cooked and pre-packaged, so it tastes like that. Poor quality control allows the sandwich to be literally thrown together, no matter if dining in or out. The cleanliness (qat least in the Southern establishments I have been to ) is lacking. The Sonic chicken sandwich is well worth the money...this one is not. The only positive about this "restaurant" is that they are closed on Sunday to give all staff a day of worship and reflection. Very disappointing over the years...

I loved Chick-Fil-A's chicken nuggets and fries and after I became a vegetarian I would still eat them (it was too hard to give that up). After many messed up orders and frustrations with the several around my house I've give up on them! I think it's good food and I miss it but it's not worth it anymore.

I've been to Chick-Fil-A restaurants in several cities. I have yet to encounter an employee there who wasn't polite, well-mannered, and dressed in a clean uniform. That has to originate at the top. The chicken is tasty and always well prepared. I know it's not the healthiest food on the planet, but I like it. Substitute the small fruit cup for the fries and drink the diet lemonade if you must.

Mr Cathy has helped out alot of people in our community and all about in general, I go to his church, which is a huge church so I have never actually met him but I know alot of people who have and he has helped many people and given them homes and things that they needed. He also has a childrens camp in North Georgia for children to attend every summer, he is a wonderful christian man and their is so many organizations that he has, and he has given so much money away to charity it amazing that he has money left. We have driven by his house, he is a very conservative man and has a normal size home and a normal car. Nothing fancy, just like you and me. He has a wonderful delicious food chain to add to it, one of a kind Chick Fil A

I don't eat fast food very often, but ChickFilA is a real treat - I love it! If you don't like fried chicken, then don't bother trying it cuz that's all it is (on a buttery bun), but MAN IS IT GOOD! A note to the person who said you won't get fat eating this - THINK AGAIN! These are LOADED with fat and cholesterol since they're fried in vegetable oil and then generously bathed in a buttery seasoning. The chicken sandwich that they're famous for has 32g of fat (49% of DV) and 8g staurated fat (40% DV). That's pretty bad for lunch! The only good news is that these figures include the french fries, so if you can manage to skip those, then you'll be a little better off. My advice, eat it once or twice a month at most if you're worried about becoming/staying obese!
