A contract actress for Paramount in the mid 1950s, Jones successfully took over roles that earlier might have gone to Gloria Grahame. At her best in 'Career', 'The Big Heat', 'A Hole in the Head' (Geronimo!) and 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'.
