If you like Soul, then this man is certainly deserving. Also, it is no coincidence that he started with Sam Cooke and wrote music for Janis Joplin, Wilson Pickett, Rolling Stones. If you are truly a R & R fan, then once you read his deep hsitory, you'll easily conclude that he should be in the R & R HOF. Finally, he still performs today and is amazing.
