love their food , esp . the chalupas & nachos :)

So it isn't real Mexican food, but who really expects it to be? Four stars because it's cheap and as long as you order the right things, it tastes fairly good.

OK if you don't think of it as Mexican food.Compared to the real thing,it's sadly lacking- but compared to most of the other chains on this list,it's a bargain.

When I went to East Town Mall in Knoxville two days ago, I ordered a soft shell taco. I put taco sause on it and it was freaking delicious! They have three different types of Taco Sause. Mild, hot, and fire. You may think that I'm a wimp but I used the mild taco sause.
If you want a good taco, go to Taco Bell. I give Taco Bell a 5 star rating.

Maybe I'm a little strange, but I have recently found myself turned off by Taco Bell (at least the one where I live, anyway). It seems as though all the "workers" (if you could call them that) goofed around (as a result messing up orders, and more than once). I got something on another occasion, and it really tasted weird (makes one wonder what that concoction is that's being passed off as "meat").

Del Taco is far more superior, a million times over! Hey, they have FRIES (among other things) -- and pretty darn good fries, too!

In my younger years, there was a time when I'd come home from work, change into bummy clothes, then head straight for Taco Bell for a Baja Chalupa value meal. I probably rocked it 3-4 times a week: it was cheap, tasty, and I'd yet to develop the gut I so proudly carry today.

Then somebody told me about how Taco Bell has a stated "maximum level of fecal matter" allowed in its food. And the maximum level isn't, in case you were wondering, ZERO. Since then I haven't been back to Taco Bell once.

It could be a totally false rumor, and I'm now passing that rumor on to the internet at large, but still, that's the kind of fact that sticks with you. In my mind, the Taco Bell brand = poop, literally.

well first of all i love the flashy colors in th front of the building, it says hi my name is jorge but im from the americas so i still keep it classy un like th what we call "swine carriers". i can smell my bbiener beendip burito from a mile away,(and im not tlking bout th food if u no wat im sayin). thats wright i said it taco bell is an underground mexican whore house but theyll do anything including takin a bite of my burrito if u no wat im leading to

I always think, "Dog food." My late lamented dog, Fido, was a big fan of the burrito.

I hate to say this, but sometimes Taco Bell is just freaking good. Sure, I might burp it up for two days, but once in a while the gastric torture is just needed. The Baja Gordita is amazing. It must be something about fried bread with tasty mystery meat that makes my mouth water! So while its not fine food the Taco Bell can be decent and is always cheap in price. I think its the only place left with items for under a dollar!

im seeing all this bitching about a real mexican joint yeah we all know about the real mexican places, this is a fast food chain... what do you expect

i love taco bell i could eat it everyday and i used to work there and ate it everyday, for like 5 months.

i prefer the taco stands in the middle of the ghetto they have the best mexican food ever, its cheap as hell too... but it gives me the squirts so i oppt for taco bell, which may not be near as good but for a fast food joint its the tits

Possibly the worst value of all the fast food chains. At Taco Bell I leave hungry of I spend less that $8.00 on my meal; and my appetite is not large; a lunch consisting of a Whopper, Jr. (BK) or double cheeseburger (McD), together with a coffee for seniors, will hold me until dinner for less than $2.00. And speaking of coffee, you can't get it at Taco Bell. Nor can you get bottled water. You have to beg for a cup of tap water.

I run to the border a few times a month. I'll never try to convince you that it's good for your health, but I will challenge you to eat a Crunchwrap Supreme and tell me you didn't enjoy it.

Decent food and service but I havn't been there in a while.

It will do when you want something fast and cheap, but definitely not too often.

I won't eat at Taco Bell, the major reason being I don't eat red meat or pork, which takes up a big portion of their menu. Their chicken doesn't look good either....although, I do remember the fire sauces being good.

I tried Taco Bell once, about 2 years ago, still today, when I recall that experience, I feel like throwing up...

I live in the Mission in San Francisco, if I want Mexican food I have more than 20 Mexican restaurants in a less than 10 minutes walk from home.

Good tasting fast food, at cheap prices. They have really expanded their menu since their earlier days. My personal fav is the 7 Layer Burrito.

Some of the best food on Earth. You just need to ask for some side orders of cheese so that you get enough. (You can also get sides of tomatoes.) If you want more meat you can ask for "plus beef". It's all cheap and GREAT!

Generally I love Toco Bell. Not only their price way lower than the competitors, I like their varieties too.

I sometimes eat at Taco Bell in Concord and some other places here in New Hampshire. I might save a burrito in my truck for a week or two and it comes in handy to poison rodents. The poor little varmints die slowly and it appears with some discomfort. This always causes me to pause and hesitate.

If I'm going to eat fast food, Taco Bell is one of my favorites.  You get what you pay for.  My family can eat there for $15. It's cheap, good and oh so bad for you!

An insult to Mexicain Americans by calling this fetal matter Meixcian Food. If you are broke and do not care about your health or are a chain smoker and can not taste anything anyway than maybe this would be a place to eat once a year.

Taco Bell is to Mexican food what McDonalds is to American food. It is not bad, but you can do better. Quite often, you can't do better for the price.
