Good, but not great U2 song.

This is a classic U2 song from back when they made their best music. Sure Bono can act like a bit of a preachy douche, especially now, but this is a great song.

Someday someone is going to have to sit me down and explain what the appeal of U2 is. I never liked this song or most of their stuff.

I just can't make myself to be as big of a U2 fan as the rest of the North Americans.

While I never completely jumped on the "U2 bandwagon" because in my opinion it was "political music' so often, This song and so much of what was on "The Joshua Tree' was great. U2 never out did this record. I just wish Bono would get off his "save the planet icon" self and make music. To some degree I think this is what celebrities of all kind start to do when their talent/product alone will not garner enough attention, so they attach themselves to other "worldly political agendas". Shut up and sing/play please.
