I quit eating donuts so I could buy more grizz.

Vastly over-rated. You would be better off health-wise smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for life than eating a daily doughnut. Consume in moderation.

krispy creams are awesome

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are so disgusting that I cannot put them in my mouth. I don't even like to touch them because they are textureless blobs of grease.

Krispy Kreme Donuts: A pleasant delightful way to die. Why not make-em with splenda, add tastless vitamin . Imagin healthy donuts.

Love Krispy Kreme. Their doughnuts are the best hands down. Especially the hot Original Glazed right off the machine. Yummy!

They are good but I find that they are way to rich in flavor!!!!! Very high in calories.

This rating is purely on taste only. In 1997 I had to give up white sugar and white flour and Krispy Kreme was the only thing that made that hard to do. It's unhealthy as h3**, but it is SO GOOD! I still remember it now. And no, there isn't even any one that is best, even the plain old "rings" (or whatever they are) taste like da bomb!

Great off the machines: hot and gooey with sugar. But fattening as hell! And don't even mention the Luther Burger (a bacon cheeseburger between two of these bad boys)! Beware: one of these is a walking heart attack!

When they are hot off the rack, they are very tasty. They are way too sweet to eat more than 2 at a time. If they would cut back on the sugar I would give it 5 stars. If you are a sugarholic these donuts are for you

Dunkin Donuts can take their "cake" donuts and shove them where the sun dont shine! You want a donut... get a HOT Krispy Kreme original glazed! These things give your mouth a joygasm! And dont forget to purchase a chocolate milk, otherwise you ruined your trip!

Completely and totally unhealthy. I've had them. It's pure sugar, white flour and oil.

If you want a sugar rush then this would be the donut for you.

I'm not a big fan. They're not horrible, but they are far from the nirvana some folks think.

I've had a lot better donuts, and I find the lardy overtones in the aftertaste of these unpleasant.

A guilty pleasure at times, but more often than not their donuts are so sweet that I can literally feel myself gaining weight.

Quite possibly the worst donuts in existance. I will not eat one of their donuts even if it was free. They do not even come close to Winchell's.

All of these donuts are good, but they are more sugar and fat then you would think. Even after hearing about their fat content, I still really enjoy the distinct taste of them (different from other donuts). A must try.

Best donut around. Period!!! I want to scream because my town only has those blasted dunkin donuts, with foul cakey donuts. I have to drive 30 for a Krispy Kreme, boo!

These doughnuts are the best ones in the world. My favorite is the Boston Cream doughnut.

Not the place you want to visit often since being healthy is important, however you gotta indulge in it once in a while.

I've had cookies that were bigger and they seem to be getting smaller every damn day. Tasty yes, but can't understand the rabid fascination with the place. Wouldn't refuse one, but also wouldn't go out of my way for one either...

Krispy Kremes are nauseating and it's a disgrace that the FDA allows them to be called "donuts". They're round-- that's about where the comparison ends. They have the texture of a grease saturated sea-sponge and the taste complexity of a mouthful of corn syrup. Actually, it's worse than corn syrup-- some of them actually have a medicinal aftertaste. I don't think most of their imaginary flavors would be recognizable in a blind taste test. Compared to them, Dunkin' Donuts are akin to fine French pastries and homemade cakes. The sight of KK turns my stomach and makes my teeth hurt.

Fat Pills. Take several daily and watch the waist expand.

All the donuts places are too high. I don't go to them unless I am starving and nothing else is available. The donuts at Dunkin Donuts are 90 cents now, I won't pay this much for a lousy fried doughball.

I think they are far too sweet, I think I'd prefer a donut from a local shop better. Although I hear their coffee is to die for

The first sight walking into our Krispy Kreme is the hot fat canal/river that the donuts are dropped into. This is a southern experiment gone horribly wrong. Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts is a much better option.

Got to love that "HOT KK DONUTS NOW" sign when it lights up. Time to pull in and buy a dozen! They melt in your mouth when they are warm!

They're about the only doughnuts I don't like. They taste so artificial and contain more air than dough.

Awesome and decadent. Unfortunately, one-by-one, they're all closing around here. Considering the financial raping the company took from it's top brass, they're probably in the process of slowing fading away.

I like them but they are very heavy and greasy. The only shop near me closed not so long ago, I think the fad has worn away somewhat. The plain glazed are good but the jelly-filled and the chocolate cream filled are awesome.

I truly don't understand how a product could be so overrated. People from the South are particularly proud of Krispy Kreme donuts, but I have no idea why. Maybe its a southern thing. They are way too sweet with too much glaze on them, and they're expensive. If you ever visit Lawrence, KS, you've got to try Joe's Donuts. Now that's a donut!

I'm sorry, but I gave it more than one chance and I just haven't liked Krispy Kreme. The donuts are too sweet and they put too much glaze on them. The only thing I like about it is that you can get a free Krispy Kreme workers hat, and you can see the machines make donuts. My favorite donuts are cake donuts, but if I'm going to buy some from a donut shop, then I'll go to Ducan Donuts; much less sugary and alot less glaze.

Donuts are not my favorite thing, but Krispy Kreme has a good distinct taste that surpasses other donuts. It also melts to your tongue as it feels as if it just came out of the oven. I could not eat too many in one sitting, because they are so sugary, but I recommend them. It is interesting that this company has not spent a dime on their advertising! It has all been by word-of-mouth!

krispy Kreme are "filthy donuts", really not intended for human consumption, all that trans fat lurking in it. Dunkin Donuts is a classy product, tasty, civilized, not trashy.

Good chain of donuts with good coffee. The only complaints I have is that the stores are sparce and the closing time of the shops are too early (10 P.M.). However the glazed donuts are delicious and the employees are kind. They even take the liberty of not selling you an item if it isn't fresh enough or they give it to you for free. We need more franchises.

They are good donuts but they are not all they are made out to be. Also they are expensive compared to other shops.

Yo! WTF is up with all this kwispy kweem. Have you people never had a real bakery do-nut before. It is not all that much as dognuts go the glased is so so but they are far to sweet. the sweetness needs to be balanced with the doughyness and the greasyness.

I'm not that much of a donut eater (maybe once or twice per year at parties and such), but the first time I had a Krispy Kreme glazed donut, I thought it was pretty good (better than the overpriced/hyped Masshole based Dunkin Donuts), but nothing to warrant the hype it received. When the first store in Connecticut opened in Newington, the drivethru lines were incredibly long, so long that city cops and KK employees had to direct traffic! I figured with a long line and wait, KK donuts are something special. When I received the donuts and tried one, I felt it was good but certainly not worth my 20-30 minute wait in the drivethru line sucking exhaust from other cars. Nowadays when you go by that Krispy Kreme on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, CT, the place practically looks closed for but a few cars in the lot, but remains open for business. I do not like to eat donuts that much due to the copius amount of sugar used on them. I find it funny all the posts saying donuts are not healthy to eat and contribute to an expanding waistline, well no sh!t, Captain Obvious! And it's not like KK is the only donut chain with overly calorious donuts. Even Dumbkin Dumbnuts stale donuts are high in calories, but with Krispy Kreme you at least have taste! Now whenever I have to get donuts for a party, I will most certainly pass by all the DDs on my way to the local KK and pick up a dozen (of which I have like one or two), and since nobody goes there anymore, my wait in line is 2-3 minutes max.

Too sugary. Winchells is or one of the Cambodian run joints that are omnipresent in SoCal is/are better.

I love the lemmom filled donuts!! Yeah it's safe to say I like this place!

I've had better at local shops but for a chain this is the best.

I'm not a fan of krispy kreme donuts. I get much tastier donuts at my local donut shop and there cheaper.

They are not around my area but some stores carry the donuts. I have to say they are tasty.

Their glazed donuts are extremely good. Good enough to earn them 4 stars. I'm not really crazy about the other donuts they have.

We finally got a Krispy Kreme in our area. I went this week and bought an assortment box 12 donuts. we found the donuts to be good. We would even go back now and then for more as a treat. they do not stand out as anything that special. They are just donuts like you would get at Dunkin Doughnuts, or our local Quality Dairy. A bit pricey too at $5.99 A Dozen.they have a nice variety to choose from.

We don't have one where we live, but on our honeymoon, my husband and I saw one with the sign on. We went in and each got a free hot donut. I had no complaints about that.

How can you hate Krispy Kreme? I love their doughnuts. I just don't buy them as much as I used to because they make my face break out from all the sugar...lol.
