19th century New York Giants star, HOF'er, a very large man for the time, who played for a few other clubs. Although no one seemed to know it at the time, his record of, I think, 136 lifetime homers was the record that Ruth smashed. No way of knowing just how good he would've been in more modern times, but Connor was probably, or at least arguably, the 2nd best 1b of the era behind Anson.
