Definitely not the type of movie I would choose to watch, but it was fairly decent. Any other child actor might have ruined the movie, but Dakota Fanning makes any role she is given believable. This would definitely be a great movie to watch with kids.

Dreamer is the heart warming story of an injured racehorse named Sonador(Spanish for Dreamer) who ultimately ends up bringing a rather broken family back together. Dakota Fanning plays Cale Crane, and does an exceptional job at that. First having seen her in Man on Fire, I was awe struck by her love for acting. Dreamer is no different. She plays the daughter of Ben Crane(Kurt Russell), a horse trainer who was fired and ended up taking an injured horse under his wing. Cale developed a caring relationship for the horse and believed that it would one day race again. Her faith, her fathers knowledge, and wisdom from her grandpa lead her dream to come true. Dreamer is a touching family film that parents will enjoy right alongside their kids.
