Marshall was a failed starter who later became a closer. He pitched in a staggering 106 games for the Dodgers in '74 and, needless to say, he got hurt and wasn't effective again until '79 with The Twins. A good pitcher at his best, but apparently an egocentric, know it all, jerk from what I've read. Also played with the Expos in the early 70's: he became converted into a closer there.
