Won a lot of games and also lost a lot too. One of the best A.L. pitchers between the wars, a dependable solid pitcher who would have won more if not for the fact that he generally played for awful teams with the White Sox, who, at the beginning of his career, and well into it, were reeling from the 1919 scandal.
