300 wins, may reach 5000 strikeouts, world series MVP, 5 Cy Young awards, great win percentage, has led the league in ERA 4 times, has won more than 15 games 11 times. The numbers speak for themselves. First ballot.

Update: After Johnson's 300th win tonight I had to check and make sure I had him rated as a first ballot guy. Thankfully I already thought the same thing four years ago. There has been a surge of 300 win guys with Clemens, Maddux, Glavine, and Johnson over the last few years. However, there aren't too many guys on the horizon with that close of a call. Its an extremely difficult mark to reach, and this is just another impressive stat that Johnson can add to his resume. Some other important things in his favor are his five Cy Youngs, runner up to Nolan Ryan in career strikeouts, and his World Series co-MVP with the Diamondbacks. 11/2/2005 - A dominant pitcher for a long time, and he also has the lore of being the Big Unit. No way he doesn't get elected on the first ballot.

I'd never vote for a guy who didn't try for a season so that Seattle would get rid of him.

Maybe the best lefty ever. Come on.

WAY passed his prime, starting to embarass himself.
When he was in his prime, he was by far the most intimidating/dominant pitcher of his time! I used to love watching him throw that heater back in the day! He will make the Hall Im sure. He has enough wins and a HIGH strikeout total.

A top five all-time lefty, the MulletMan will enter on the 1st ballot.

One of the best pitchers ever. Declining numbers today are clearly a result of him hanging around too long.

One of the most intimidating pitchers in history. Although he has become more vulnerable in his later years, he's still a shoo in for the hall.

Just behind Clemens as a guaranteed first ballot selection. I'm betting a percentage vote in the high eighties, low nineties.
