Not the most wins, but his other numbers are great. He has got the rings though.

Tough call. Decent win loss ratio, three World Series, and three 20 win seasons, two of them with popular teams. Not a slam dunk, but he`ll probably go in.

I would say hes a borderline Hall of Famer. Yea he does have a good shot, but dude he needs to go head and call it quits.

Update: Schilling made an announcement today that he will undergo surgery and will probably end his career. He had a lot of subpar years, especially early in his career. That definitely effected his career numbers, although they are still decent. I think the things that will put him over the edge are his truly dominant years, and his great postseason performances. He played in 4 World Series, and his teams won 3 of them. He was 11-2 with a 2.23 career ERA in the playoffs as well. He had three 20 game seasons since 2001, and that just doesn't happen often anymore. I personally dislike his personality, but I think he has done enough in his career to make the Hall, although probably not on his first attempt.
11/2/2005 - Schilling's numbers don't reflect a Hall of Famer, but he has publicized himself a lot over the last few years, and with his post season performances with the Red Sox and Diamondbacks, he will probably end up getting in. However, he has not had the great career that Clemens, Maddux, and Johnson have.

On the fence. Wasn't a standout in his early years and may have turned it on too late.

He is on the cusp. It will depend on the year and the contenders.
