On his way. Having a career year, hes a career 300 hitter. If he stays consistent like he has been and at least passes 450 homeruns, he has a decent shot.

he'd be the goofiest lookin hall of famer to date. he did step it up for his team this season, but he's gotta do that a few more times to be hall of fame material.

Probably not. My guess is that he would need to continue to be a very productive player for almost a decade more before meriting serious Hall of Fame discussion. That being said, he's a good hitter.

Berkman will put up some decent numbers for his career, but I don't see him becoming a Hall of Famer.

If he stays uninjured he should be a second or third ballot. But I'm bias since I'm an Astros fan.

I lean towards no, but he's only 29, and still has a number of productive years ahead of him. If he picks up the dinger pace a little, which doesn't seem impossible, while maintaining a .300 plus average, he might have a shot. I suspect however, that he winds up in the no-mans land inhabited by hitters like Jim Rice.
