Arguably the greatest latino hitter of all time! I dont like his cocky additude, but he is a living legend, and I give credit where credit is due. He is a first ballot HOFer. The Dogers are in the playoffs this year largely because of him.

Maybe the best right handed hitter ever. He has unlimited ability at the plate. Huge average, power, and run production. He's got the rings.

If they have a category for stupidest players ever, then Manny is a first ballot lock. Otherwise time will tell, but it seems more likely than not. 490 HR's and an above .300 career BA are nothing to sneeze at.

I think he will move from the "borderline" to the "strong" category if he has a couple more strong seasons. He reminds me so much of Albert Belle: great player and great jerk. If he has a career-ending injury anytime soon like Belle did, he'll move into the "borderline" category because the writers and many baseball insiders think he is an a-hole.

His popularity has grown since the Red Sox won the World Series and has been consistently good for years.

The only player with more than 500 dingers eligible for the hall who isn't in is McGwire. Rodriguez is a headcase among headcases, but that won't keep him out. As the most fearsome power hitter of his generation he should be a first ballot selection. His flakiness will probably prevent that, but he will get a plaque.

One of the best RBI men of all time, and if he continues to produce for a few more years he might become a first ballot type of guy.
