Rings. Great post season sucess. Never considered one of the greatest of the time he played. I would like to see himm in, but it might not happen.

Think about Jim Rice, a similar player to Bernie with better over-all stats, yet still not in the Hall. If Bernie's not as good as Jim, and Jim's waited this long already, what does that say about Bernie's chances? Not so much.

I don't think he'll be first ballot, but I do think he'll get in eventually.

Probably not a first ballot type of guy, but his consistency over the Yankees' World Series teams probably make him a Hall of Famer. He was the go to guy in the Bronx for many years, and although he seems to be disappearing from the radar quickly, Bernie should still see Cooperstown some day.

The stats are good, if not gaudy, and he will benefit from playing in New York. My bet is he will probably go in, but not until 5 or 6 ballots have gone by.
