11/02/2005 | Antelope Valley consists of northern Los Angeles County and the southern portion of Kern County, California. It lies north of the San Gabriel Mountains in the Mojave Desert.
This area has boomed as people moved here to escape LA. The problem is that LA followed them. Many of the things that they tried to escape are here. This is a desert area so ecological problems become more manifest and $3.00 per gallon gas is really going to hurt.
