Not in men -- the person I always think of having the most heroic mullet is Randy Johnson, who is no redneck, but was born in the tony Bay Area suburb of Walnut Creek. It's a little more reliable in women -- but not always, since a mullet can on occasion be a mark of butch pride.

If a mullet is what you want to wear, then by all means, wear it. Whatever floats your boat.

From the "classic" film, "Joe Dirt," I learned that the working class folks are more likely to sport a mullet than those of higher ups....though I could be wrong.

A redneck/heavy-metal music fan who is stuck in a time portal.

A mullet in the year 2005 is equal to a DA in 1975. If you suffer from DDS (Decade Denial Syndrome), please put down your beer and pork rinds and see a stylist immediately.

Never saw a grad student or a person with a Phd. or anyone making real money sporting one of these. . .

How is it possible to think that this hairstyle is still fashionable?

This is about as low rent as you can get.

A question (semi-serious) to my fellow RIA posters: Who is the most successful person of whom you can think who has ever had a mullet? My choices were Billie Ray Cyrus and Randy Johnson.
