He has the numbers and consistency. He won't get in any time soon as a punishment. Maybe a chance he doesn't get in also.

No chance. The scourge of steroids keeps him out.

Still trying to decide. Real bad persona now though.

Another weak character from a professional athlete, but his numbers speak for themselves. One of the longest consistently great hitters in baseball today.

It's hard to say how the steroid scandals will affect him at this point. Aside from the controversy, he's comparable to, say, Eddie Murray, and there's little question he wouldn't get in sans all the hubbub about steroids and his appearance at the Congressional hearings.

A lot of people feel that Raffy shouldn't get in after the events this previous season, but I think that he should be a definite Hall of Famer. He might not be a first ballot guy after the steroid scandal, but he will still get in. I think the baseball voters know that he wasn't the only player on the juice for all those years, and respect what he did as a player. It will be quite a shock if a guy who has 3,000 hits, 500 homeruns, top 15 in RBI, top 10 in total bases, and 3 Gold Gloves doesn't make the hall. Will Rafael Palmeiro be the Pete Rose of the new generation?
