I actually enjoy VERY early Chicago,( go ahead hurl eggs at me) the band could play, especially the late guitarist Terry Kath, and this fool was a great bass player. This saccharine monstrosity is one of those songs that is so awful I wish I'd been born in my father's generation so at least Cetera would have been tolerable instead of the grand master of sappy musical defecation. I was a teenager when this dreck appeared- One of many reasons I look to the past for music....

It's said you either love this or hate this. I like this enough, I honestly wanted this to win the Oscar song over Take my Breath Away.
