It hurt Miami pretty bad because they didn't have much on offense to begin with.Time will tell and we will see if they pick up a good replacement.Update:Last year he rushed for 1372 yards and had an average of 3.5 per carry. He had one good year in 2002 with 1853 yards, but he had a career average of 4.0 per carry, which is not outstanding.

Ricky Williams WAS the Dolphins offense. A star runningback, Williams was the NFL's leading rusher last year with almost 1900 yards. He was a central component of the team's winning strategy, they may get a new pick. Reality is that the Dolphins in its former form was no longer working well as a cohesive team, lots of snipping and general disrespect for the leadership, a little shakeup is needed But no one can deny that Williams's departure is a big loss.
