Injuries happened at the wrong time. He will never have the numbers.

My fav. pitcher in the league. A smooth tossing 6'6" pitcher from Michigan who had great numbers in Oakland. Unfortunately, he will never make the ballot. Injuries are deterring his form form the late 90's. He does have one record however. He hit the first HR in the new St. Louis ballpark!

Mark Mulder had an amazing 5 year stretch with the A's and in his first year as a Cardinal. However, this past season he had a losing record and an ERA of 7.14. He still has great career numbers, but he will have to rebound greatly to make people remember that he is one of the game's best current pitchers. If he doesn't regain his previous form, I don't see Cooperstown in his future.

Impressive to watch, but still has a few more years to go. Right now, I'd say yes.

Good pitcher, and it's too early to tell, but I doubt it.
