Oh come on... they were just mad because of high unemployment. ;-)

The French really need to do something about these little whiny hoodlums living in France. According to radio pundit Michael Savage (paraphrased of course), the French CANNOT allow these hoodlums to get their way or otherwise, France will become Islamic in the next five years. Where is Charles Martel when you need him?

The french are revolting, what else is new. I still have not heard a definitive reason as to why. If we can just get the German army to move towards France that should quiet them down. Its not just in the suburbs, they have been rioting Paris.

I have mixed feelings on this one. There is the part of me that wants the French to suffer for not uniformly kissing the butt of Uncle Sam when we were originally dealing with Iraq, but on the other hand they do have a government official who had the gumption (and apparently felt secure enough) to speak the truth about the rioters when he called them "scum." Perhaps we can get this guy to run for office here in Los Angeles. I want this dude on board when we have another you-can-practically-set-your-clock-or-calendar-by-it "community uprising" here on the West Coast. And to compensate the French for losing one of their prominent politicians I think we should all happily agree to lend them Al Sharpton for an indefinite period of time.

Certainly a story. . .but I find it extremely hypocritical that dubyaphiles are enjoying the rioting in France as if we've never had race riots here in my-god-is-the-only-god's-country. . .France is irritating, but not nearly as irritating as American's obsession of how we are viewed by some silly Francophiles. . .

Yes this is significant, it showed the world that the French segragate worse than they say. Hopefully it will open the USA's eyes to the dangers of people who have no connection with the country they're in. (illegal immigrants)

I think this is a significant story that could turn out to be even more so. It will be interesting to see how these riots in France play out.

To think that the French speak of us so poorly.

Just a quick refresher course in how NOT to respond to a riot, for devoted students of government.
