Let the dead bury the dead...or something like that. Anywho, dead people in horror films always tend to turn up at the wrong time and even without an invitation - no need to make it worse by giving them one. Best to let sleeping corpses lie...even if you have to drive the point home with a hammer and stake (those vampires can be especially insistent little buggers.)
